Fully gut-renovated in 2024, this stunning riverside home blends modern comfort with the tranquility of waterfront living, while conveniently located just 15 minutes from I-95, 10 minutes from Route 40 or the Aberdeen Amtrak station (rideshare available), and 20 minutes from Ripken Stadium or Havre de Grace. Washington, DC, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Northern Virginia, central Maryland, and Delaware are all within a 1.5-hour drive. The neighborhood is entirely residential, with friendly neighbors along a peaceful, quiet street, yet only minutes from the modern conveniences that make suburban living so comfortable. With an open-concept floor plan, the home features a fully open riverside wall with floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding glass doors, showcasing uninterrupted views of the mile-wide Bush River. Inside, the gourmet kitchen showcases stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and double islands, with a powder room conveniently located nearby. The spacious living and dining area offers sweeping water views through floor-to-ceiling windows. This home accommodates up to eight overnight guests. It’s an ideal place for a comfortable, convenient stay while enjoying the beautiful scenery. The first-floor primary suite features its own laundry, en-suite bath, and walk-in closet, plus a full wall of floor-to-ceiling double glass sliders that open to a spacious wraparound screened-in porch overlooking the river. Upstairs, a second primary suite offers expansive river views, a private en-suite bath, and a walk-in closet. The second floor also have two additional bedrooms (one with river views), a shared full bath with a tub and shower, and a convenient laundry room. This home is equiped with two seperate HVAC systems for optimal climate control and comfort. One thermostat, located on the back wall of the 1st-floor family room, regulates temperature exclusively for that area as well as the upstair primary suite. The other thermostat, positioned on the wall facing the fireplace, controls the climate for rest of the house. Each bedroom, as well as the 1st-floor common area (with river view), has its own writing desk. High-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the entire property, the screened-in porch, deck, and even parts of the yard. *Please note that during the winter months (December–February), the HVAC systems can only maintain indoor temperatures up to approximately 60°F. Oil-filled radiator heaters with digital thermostats are available for supplemental warmth; however, we cannot guarantee that temperatures above 60°F can be maintained throughout the home during the winter months (December–February). We are going to permenantly address this issue later this year. The detached garage can accommodate one larger vehicle or two small vehicles. Guest parking is limited to three vehicles on the property at any given time. Parking on the grass is not permitted. Please be aware that the home includes several level changes, including three steps to the front door, one step down to the first-floor primary suite, steps from the dining area and primary suite to the wraparound screened-in porch, and five steps from the porch to the backyard. Within 20 minute drive radius there are a variety of restaurants, from nationwide chain stores such as LongHorn Steakhouse, Olive Garden, Golden Corral, to local favorites like Alina's Asian Cuisine, Jac's Crabs & Seafood, Edge Crab House, Conrad's Seafood Restaurant, Ray's Caribbean American Food, etc. The region is famous for Chesapeake Bay crabs (many restaurants source straight from nearby fishing boats). *Some restaurants may close during winter months. There are ample options for grocery shopping: a large Walmart supercenter, Lidl, and ALDI are all 10 minutes away, a ShopRite is 15 min away, and Wegmans is a 20-minute drive. In addition, the closest gas station is a quick 9 min drive away. If you need immediate medical care, the University of Maryland Urgent Care in Aberdeen is 6 miles away. For more serious medical needs, the new University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Medical Center–Aberdeen (opened February 6, 2024) is 8 miles away. It's open 24/7 and features a full-service Emergency Department and is certified as acute-stroke ready. This home provides private water access for launching kayaks, paddleboards, floats, etc. Please note: we do not provide watercraft, flotation devices, or fishing equipment for guest use. For your safety, please exercise caution when using the water access area, as surfaces may become slippery. Use of the water and water access is entirely at guests' own risk. Guests are welcome to bring their own equipment. To ensure guest safety, we strictly require all guests to provide and wear their own USCG-approved personal flotation devices while in the water. Guests intending to fish are responsible for securing all necessary licenses prior to arrival. A water hose is available inside the screened-in porch for rinsing off sand or dirt. Please rinse your wet or sandy feet before entering the home. Please note that the piers and boats on both sides of the property belong to our neighbors. Guests are not permitted to use these piers. The propane BBQ grill on the deck is provided as a courtesy for registered guests only. Guests are responsible for supplying their own grilling essentials, cleaning the grill after use, and returning any utensils to the resin box next to the grill. Additional cleaning fees may apply if the grill is not properly maintained. While we strive to keep the propane tank full, guests are responsible for refilling or exchanging it if empty. (A Walmart with propane exchange service is located approximately 10 minute drive away.) For security, a Ring doorbell camera is installed at the front door and another Ring doorbell camera is at the screened-in porch door facing the waterfront. All parties are strictly prohibited. Unregistered guests are not permitted without prior approval from the owner. Guest access Guests have access to the entire property, including deck, screened-in porch, detached garage, and waterfront, except for areas marked "No Guest Access" (unfinished basements, unfinished attic, and the kitchen pantry). The front door has digital keyless entry for easy and secure check-ins and check-outs. (For security, door lock code is changed for each guest and you are welcome to choose your four digit front door lock code.) Check-in instructions are provided to you 24 hours prior to your arrival. Other things to note Sleeping arrangements: 1st floor Primary suite - 1 king bed, up to 2 persons 2nd floor 2nd floor primary suite - 1 queen bed, up to 2 persons Riverview Bedroom- 1 queen bed, up to 2 persons Garden-view Bedroom - 1 twin bed, 1 twin trundle bed, up to 2 persons This property has two Ring doorbells (the front and back doors) and use digital keyless entry. For safety reasons, children under 8 are not permitted. Due to direct, unfenced water access and multiple elevation changes, this waterfront home may not be suitable for young children. Children ages 8–12 are welcome with close adult supervision at all times. The piers and boats visible from this home belong to our neighbors. Guests are not permitted to use these piers nor boats. We are in the process of getting the permit and build our own pier. On occasion, the neighbor’s two small dogs may briefly wander into our yard. For everyone's safety and comfort, please do not engage or interact with them. No guest use of the fireplace No smoking / vaping inside No Pets Maximum of 8 people on the property at any time unless approved in advance by the host. Maximum of 3 vehicles on the property at any time. NO PARTIES / NO OPEN-INVITE GATHERINGS
