Close to downtown; miles away from your normal day to day. This freshly rebuilt cottage is snug and warm fall and winter yet cool and relaxing when temps outside rise. The space Pecan Shade Sanctuary features 2 bedrooms both with full beds. The cottage is sprinkled with Local Photos taken by your host who challenges you to find and identify each location; some are easily found while others will require serious exploration. Send a message to validate your finds. The front porch of our cottage invites you to enjoy a locally made porch swing while the back patio opens to a large back yard. Both front and back yards feature signature mature pecan trees; we don't harvest all the nuts so take a handful with you when your adventures take you further down the road. Our cottage has a covered carport that you are welcome to use. Guest access The cabinets above the refrigerator contain owner's supplies. Please do not access this space. Otherwise, the house is yours, but treat her with care. The driveway for Pecan Shade Sanctuary adjoins the home next door. Please respect the neighbor by not blocking their access. Cars that block the neighbor’s drive may have to be towed. Other things to note The local Walmart can delivery most anything you need during your stay usually in 3 hours or less. There is, of course, a delivery fee and be sure to tip your driver. Dominos will deliver but be sure and try our local restaurants while you are visiting. We especially like Charlie B's in the Round the Clock building. Oneonta's famous meat & three buffet founded by and previously operated by our family members.
