Licence # STA-2024-207 The space Come and unwind in this newly constructed, family-friendly waterfront cottage, nestled on 3/4 acre of forested land. The property boasts over 100 ft of waterfront on the still waters of French Bay, an inlet from Lake Huron. It is the perfect spot for fishing, kayaking, canoeing, and has a boat launch area for small boats. You can fish or swim off the 18 foot long, newly constructed dock. There is a public beach within walking distance that tourists are unaware of so you can relax without feeling overcrowded. The main level of the cottage has 2 bedrooms with a queen bed in each. The great room boasts cathedral ceilings with A-frame floor to ceiling windows with beautiful views of trees and the water. There is also a 500 square ft loft with stunning views out the huge windows. It overlooks the great room and has 2 queen size beds. The large wrap-around 35 foot deck is raised 10 feet off the ground for great forest and water views. The location is perfect. It’s only a 15 min drive to Georgian Bay & Lion’s Head, a 20 min drive to Tobermory, and even closer to the Grotto and the beaches of Singing Sands. Close enough to enjoy the best that this area has to offer, yet just far enough away from the tourist crowd to enjoy peace and quiet. The cottage is 4-seasons, so you can enjoy the area all year round. Snowmobile trails, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and ice fishing are all here in the winter wonderland. Come and experience this northern paradise for yourself. Listen to the birds chirping and the gentle waves. Breathe in that fresh air and discover how truly rejuvenating nature is. This is a peaceful neighbourhood with friendly neighbours that also like to enjoy the nature around. We do just ask that noise levels are kept to a respectable level. Thank you kindly in advance! Guest access Guests have full access of this 3/4 acre waterfront land. *Guests do not have access to the ground level basement as it is an unfinished space, currently used for storage.* Other things to note Life jackets are mandatory when on any water vessel.
