The space This fully private, one-house residence sits on a quiet hill in a peaceful residential area. It offers a tatami-floored living room overlooking a Zen garden, a Hinoki-scented bathroom, a dining area with kitchen, and a modern home theater. The second floor has three bedrooms: one with two semi-double beds and two with one queen-size bed each. From the bedrooms, enjoy tranquil views of Kamakura’s forested hills, the town below, and the open sky beyond. 【Access / Getting Here】 From Narita Airport The easiest and most comfortable way to reach the property is by taking the Narita Express (N’EX) directly from Narita Airport to Ofuna Station. This is a direct train with no transfers, making it very convenient, especially if you have luggage. From Ofuna Station • By taxi: approximately 10 minutes (recommended) The nearest station is Kita-Kamakura Station, which is about a 12-minute walk from the property. Please note that the route includes a gentle uphill slope. For a smoother and more comfortable arrival, we recommend using a taxi, especially if you have luggage. Taxis can be easily arranged using the “GO” taxi app, and the same applies when traveling from the property to Ofuna Station or Kamakura Station. 【Location & Sightseeing】 The property is located in a quiet, historic residential area of Kita-Kamakura, known for its serene atmosphere. Major attractions such as Engaku-ji and Kencho-ji temples are nearby, and Kamakura Station, Komachi Street, and Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine can be reached in about 10 minutes by train or taxi. Enjoy a peaceful retreat while staying conveniently close to Kamakura’s main attractions. Guest access During your stay, the entire property — including the residence, terrace, and the Zen rock garden — is reserved exclusively for you. Enjoy the rare experience of having this Zen-inspired home completely to yourself. Please note that the Zen garden (karesansui) is designed for viewing only and is not meant to be entered. It is meant to be appreciated from the living room, terrace, and bedrooms, where its quiet beauty and stillness can be fully enjoyed. Other things to note This residence is located in a long-established, refined residential area where quietness and serenity have been carefully preserved for generations. During your stay, we kindly ask that you be especially mindful of noise levels—particularly at night and when using the terrace or any outdoor areas—so that everyone may enjoy a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. To protect this tranquil environment, all activities involving fire or the generation of smoke are strictly prohibited both indoors and outdoors. Please refrain from the following: • All forms of smoking, including cigarettes, heated tobacco products, and electronic cigarettes • Fireworks, candles, open flames, or any type of fire • Barbecues or outdoor cooking These rules are essential for safety and for maintaining harmony with the surrounding residential community. We sincerely appreciate your understanding and cooperation. To help preserve a quiet environment, a noise-level monitoring sensor is installed in the living room. This device measures only sound volume (decibel levels) and does not record conversations, audio, or video. If sound levels that may disturb the surroundings continue for a certain period, we may contact you to ensure a calm and comfortable stay. To maintain the peaceful environment of the surrounding area and ensure safety, driving up to the front of the property or stopping temporarily (including for loading/unloading luggage and taxi drop-offs/pick-ups) is strictly prohibited for all vehicles, including rental cars and taxis. Therefore, if you are traveling by car or taxi, please park at a nearby paid coin parking lot first, and then walk to the property.
