The Starting Gate, Bruton

The Starting Gate is one of three purpose built holiday cottages (sleeps 2+1) situated in a beautiful, tranquil, rural location approximately one mile from the historic town of Bruton in Somerset. It is ideally situated for families or couples wanting to explore the beautiful countryside and visit the many local attractions. The space We run a private, well equipped competition stable yard it is possible to bring your horse with you subject to appropriate arrangements. There is access to plenty of off road and quiet lane hacking and there are excellent competition venues close by. Guest access The Starting Gate is a first floor studio flat with a private entrance which is newly built and furnished to a high standard with ample parking space. The open plan living space provides a well equipped kitchen and small dining area. There is a king size bed and comfortable seating area. The separate bathroom is equipped with a bath as well as a separate shower. A bonus is a separate dressing room/lounge with a second smart TV and a comfortable single sofa bed. Outside, the Starting Gate benefits from a private patio area and guests are also welcome to make use of a shared, enclosed garden area.
