In a later chapter of the building’s story, the lower levels became home to the intimate Altamont Theatre before being thoughtfully reimagined as part of today’s lodging experience. The name “Altamont” is also a nod to Thomas Wolfe’s fictional name for Asheville, adding another layer of local history and character to this unique stay. To preserve the relaxing setting for everyone, please keep noise to a respectful level at all times. Parties and disruptive behavior aren’t permitted, and we kindly ask that you be mindful of neighbors and quiet hours starting at 10 pm. Extended Stays Reservations of 28+ days are subject to additional review. Stays exceeding 90 days require a separate agreement. Security deposit, mid-stay cleaning fee, and trash pick-up fees may apply depending on the length of stay. Airbnb Strict 60-Day Cancellation Policy Cancel 61+ days before check-in: 50% refund of the nightly rate + full cleaning fee (Airbnb service fee is non-refundable).
