Port na Ba Beach Cottage

Shore front cottage, part of Aird Cottages, Port na Ba Beach, in exceptional, tranquil location, 100m from stunning beach, NW Mull. Fisherman's cottage has panoramic seaviews of Ardnamurchan, Skye, Rum, Eigg, Muck, Canna, Coll and Outer Isles. Otters, seals, sea eagles and dolphins can be seen from cottage! Friday to Friday week rentals during the season April until October. but please send a message to enquire re off season, when short breaks are available. The space The cottage is in an outstanding setting with stunning views next to Port na Ba beach - also has its own secluded sandy beach! There are no near neighbours (holiday cottage 300m away not visible from cottage). Changeover days are normally Friday but shorter stays are possible outwith the main season. Contact the host for short breaks or changeover days other than Fridays. The cottage is ideal for 2 guests, although there is a sofa bed in the lounge so two further guests could be accommodated if don't need a separate bedroom. Guest access The cottage is accessed through Croig farm along a half mile landrover track. The last 1/4 mile is a bit rough and a speed of no more than 5mph is advised. The cottage is down a few steps and in wet weather, guests are asked to park approx 100m up from the cottage. A wheelbarrow is provided to assist moving baggage and help can be arranged on arrival and departure. Other things to note Changeovers are normally on a Friday to Friday during the season April until October but please enquire. There are very late ferries on a Friday c10pm. Occasionally Saturday to Friday bookings are considered. Off season I do shorter breaks for 3 or 4 nights so please enquire! Dog owners must contact me first before booking, as the cottage is on a farm and there are livestock around. There is no garden and dogs must be kept under control at all times, thanks. I charge £30 per week for each dog to a maximum of two, thank you.
