Welcome to The Blue Tail Chalet in the heart of the Pocono Mountains! Surrounded by endless trees, peaceful lakes, & more deer than you can count, this re-imagined chalet has everything you will need for your vacation. Located just minutes from Pocono Raceway, 10 mins to Kalahari, ~20 mins to three ski resorts, and close to many Pocono attractions, it's the perfect year round getaway. After a day exploring, relax in the private hot tub or huddle around the fire pit! Sleeping arrangements: Bedroom #1 (main floor): King Bed Bedroom #2 (main floor): Queen Bed Bedroom #3 (upstairs): King Bed Game Room (Loft): Twin Day Bed Enjoy high-speed Wi-Fi and four smart TVs where you can access all your favorite streaming services. The fully equipped chef's kitchen has everything you need for meals at home. Enjoy home cooked meals in the stunningly beautiful dining room, with seating for the entire crew. Mornings are best spent on the patio with a cup of tea or freshly brewed coffee from the MoccaMaster - both of which are provided - while soaking in the crisp Poconos air! We have installed a brand new water heater and a full house water filtration system to ensure a seamless and comfortable stay! Throughout the chalet, you will see stylish updates like new paint & art, furnishings, and mini-splits in each room for steady heating and cooling for all seasons! Unwind in the private hot tub just outside the front door, open year-round for your enjoyment and relaxation. Bundle up and huddle around the fire pit, just steps from the hot tub! Keep the fun going indoors with board and card games, foosball, a Golden Tee Arcade game, and the record player with various records to spin! We’ve thought of everything, from plush towels and linens to shampoo, soap, and paper products. Families with little ones will appreciate thoughtful extras like a Pack ’n Play crib, a booster seat, and children’s tableware. Need laundry? You have full access to our washer and dryer located in the main floor bathroom! Detergent and dryer sheets are provided! Location: - 10 minutes to Kalahari Resort, Gorilla Grove Tree Top Adventures, Pocono Raceway, Great Wolf, UTV/ATV Tours, & more! - 15 minutes to Camelback Ski Reosrt, Camelbeach & Aquatopia, Camelback Mountain Adventures, Mount Airy Casino, & Crossings Premium Outlets! - 20-25 minutes to Pocono Wine Trail, Sunset Hill Shooting Range, Big Pocono State Park, Tobyhanna State Park, Jack Frost Ski Resort & Golf Club, Big Boulder Ski Resort, Hickory Run State Park, & rafting/tubing on the Delaware River! Guest access Our guests also have the option to pay a small fee to use the amenities throughout the Emerald Lakes community. The amenities include several lakes and beaches perfect for swimming, boating, and fishing (must obtain a PA fishing license) and use of the community center during open hours. At the community center you will find a heated indoor pool that is open year round, grill with dining area, game/arcade room, and locker rooms complete with saunas and shower. Also spread throughout our community you will find an outdoor pool (open Memorial Day through Labor Day), playgrounds, basketball courts, tennis courts, pickleball courts (racquets and balls included!), and volleyball courts that are open weather permitting! The sledding hill is a great option for the snowy winter months. Amenity passes can be purchased at the community center or the community's administrative office. We will also provide a link to purchase online (easiest option), in our recommendation book after booking. Please do not purchase amenity pass until the day you plan to use them as they are non-refundable. Hosts are not responsible for amenity closures or inclement weather. Due to being in a neighborhood with a mix of full time and part time renters, the minimum age to rent is 25. While we adore pets, our chalet is not pet friendly at this time. There is one exterior Security camera above the front door for your safety.
