The space Our home is situated on a spacious property just beyond the charming historic downtown Lutz, right past the public Lutz library. While the suite is attached to our home, your space is private and self-contained for your stay. You’ll have a designated, safe parking space just steps from your suite’s private entrance, connected by a lovely pebble walkway and lush gardens. There is one small step to enter, and the interior is entirely step-free. We kindly ask guests to remain within the fenced and landscaped areas, which are clearly marked for your convenience. You may spot our friendly dogs outdoors during your stay. They’re sweet, sociable, and their biggest offense is likely trying to give you too many kisses 😊 Historic Lutz is a quaint railroad town, and while train crossings are infrequent (3–4 times per week), you may hear one during your stay. The neighborhood is very safe and walkable, with nearby parks, a public library, a large dog park, and local small businesses—including a local butcher shop. If you’re visiting Wednesday through Sunday, we highly recommend a stroll to Whistle Stop Gardens & Tea Room, just a short walk away. It’s a hidden gem with a vintage boutique, local vendors, and handmade crafts. Reservations are suggested for the tea room experiences. Also we are so excited to announce that the long awaited Lutz Country Store and Cafe has recently opened on Feb 13, 2026!! This quaint cafe owned by locals is directly across Hwy 41 which is a walkable distance from the suite and they offer hot drinks, breakfast and lunch options. They are closed Wednesdays and also sell local artisan crafts! Guest access The suite has its own private entrance. A few days before your arrival you will Receive the property address and check in information. Also the property is well-lit at night with pathway lights and decorative outdoor landscape lighting that adds to the cozy ambiance. Other things to note Well-behaved pets are welcome! There are several green spaces near the front of the house—by the parking area and close to the old train station—perfect for quick walks. A spacious dog park is also just a short stroll away, right past the local butcher shop. We also offer a very low pet fee, because as fellow animal lovers, we believe traveling with pets should be easy and affordable—not a hassle. Also we do not have a washer and dryer in the suite BUT for those staying a min of 7 days weekly laundry and cleaning service will be included free of charge. Also there is not a thermostat in the suite as we have central air in the primary home BUT we keep the temp at 70 degrees and I am VERY responsive. Please just message me and I will change the temp to whatever you desire. Finally, bed firmness varies by guest preference however, for guest awareness the bed in the suite is more on the firmer side which many prefer but if you’re used to a softer plush mattress, please keep this in mind.
