It is located in the quiet and peaceful residential area of Brunton Park, and has free parking outside the property. Consisting a large double bedroom with complementary tea/coffee, fridge and microwave as well as a 2-seater sofa and TV, with an en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower. The bathroom, which is exclusively yours during your stay, has an easy-to-use Triton shower with constant hot water. The mattress is very comfortable and the sheets are always clean and fresh. The entire space is clean, clutter free and smells fresh. There are thick blackout curtains to ensure the light does not disturb your sleep. Mattress & sheets, furniture, LG TV, Bosch Microwave, Cookability fridge, Babyliss hairdryer and bathroom appliances are brand new as of January 2026. Laundry service available upon request for a small additional fee, however no washing machine/dryer is available on the premises. Additionally, please note that there is no full kitchen, only what is shown. Guest access Significantly, access is via a private separate entrance from the surrounding house, and there is a lockbox at the front of the property so guests can access without needing to liaise with the host, although I'm generally on hand for anything you need. There is free parking in front of the property. Other things to note Shops, Amenities & Entertainments: Local shops / cafes: These include a general store, post office deli, pharmacy, and vet, and Bunns coffee shop which is very friendly and provides some wonderful cakes and pastries. To get to these shops just turn left out of the house and walk for three / four minutes. Gosforth High Street: If you go past the shops and turn right, this will lead you out of Brunton Park onto the Great North Road. Turn right again onto this road and walk for twenty minutes or drive for five and you come to Gosforth High Street with a larger range of shops and cafés. There is also an M&S and an Asda if you need them. Newcastle City Centre: This is just over three miles to the south and can be accessed by bus, Metro or car (see transport information below). Newcastle Racecourse: This is to the north. It is possible to walk to, but the roads are busy and driving / Uber may be better. It is a 12-minute journey by car. Walks: There are plenty of walks nearby. Perhaps the best of them is Jesmond Dene, just over two miles to the south - offering woodland paths, waterfalls, and wildlife through a stunning Victorian park, often linked with Heaton Park and Paddy Freeman's Park, featuring the Armstrong Bridge, Pets' Corner, and historic mill ruins, perfect for family-friendly strolls near the city centre. Transport: Metro: Newcastle is connected via a local metro system. Your nearest Metro Station is Regent Centre. This is a 20 minute walk. Turn right out of Brunton Park and Regent Centre will be on your right just before you reach Gosforth High Street. The Metro offers fast connection to Newcastle, Sunderland and environs. Bus: The nearest bus stop is five minutes walk away, just past the local shops, with regular buses into Newcastle City Centre, (10mins). The Q3/Q3X services run frequently to the Quayside, Haymarket, and Eldon Square via Gosforth and Regent Centre. Refer to the gonortheast website for further details.
