Noël Hakone Chimney is a private retreat tucked away in the tranquil forest of Ninotaira, Hakone. The signature brick fireplace brings calm with its flickering flame and scent of wood. The 140㎡ villa features 3 bedrooms and a spacious living area, comfortably hosting up to 6 guests (up to 8 for families upon request). Inside is a natural stone onsen bath for 4–5 people. On the 70㎡ deck, enjoy a barrel sauna and stargazing jacuzzi. Relax, unwind, and savor quiet luxury in nature. The space ■ Space • Total Area: Approx. 210m² (140m² indoor + 70m² wood deck) • Capacity: Standard up to 6 guests / Up to 8 guests for family use (prior inquiry required) • Layout: 3 bedrooms, 1 workspace, separate bath and toilet, 2 toilets ■ Bedrooms • Bedroom ①: 2 double beds • Bedroom ②: 2 semi-double beds • Bedroom ③: 4 single futons ■ Outdoor Facilities • 70m² wood deck • 1 Weber BBQ grill (gas type / no need for charcoal or wood) • Barrel sauna equipped with Harvia 11kW heater • 1.5m diameter jacuzzi • Infinity chairs Note: • BBQ usage allowed until 9:00 PM • Please bring your own food and seasonings (some basic seasonings are provided) ■ Indoor Facilities • Bathroom: Towada stone bath & natural hot spring (190cm × 90cm), separate sink • Living Room: Table, low sofas, side table, TV • Kitchen: IH stove, refrigerator, microwave, electric kettle, rice cooker, toaster • Cookware: Pots, frying pans, cooking chopsticks, knives, cutting boards, and more • Laundry: Drum-type washer/dryer, various hangers, detergent, fabric softener ※No oven, dishwasher, or garbage disposal is installed. ※The fireplace is currently unavailable due to maintenance. Air conditioning is available, so you can stay warm and comfortable. ■ Amenities • Bath amenities: Shampoo, conditioner, body soap • Towels: Bath towels, face towels • Others: Toothbrush sets (for all guests), slippers, free Wi-Fi, iron, futon dryer Guest access Since this is an exclusive private rental, you have full access to all rooms and facilities throughout your stay. Other things to note This property is maintained with the cooperation of our neighbors, including gardening and general upkeep. To preserve the peaceful atmosphere of the area, we strictly prohibit loud parties or any disruptive behavior. If any trouble arises with the local community, we may be forced to cancel your stay. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. ■House Guidelines • This is a private rental home, not a hotel. Please treat the space with the same care you would your own home. • Before check-out, kindly do simple clean-up such as washing dishes and gathering trash. • Additional cleaning fees may apply if there is excessive dirt or strong odors. • The property is unmanned; check-in is fully self-service. • No refunds will be issued for subjective issues such as smells, insects, or temperature. • In winter, the outdoor temperature may affect sauna performance. Please enjoy it as a low-temperature sauna if needed. ■About the Natural Environment • The property is located at an altitude of approx. 800m, about 6°C colder than lower elevations. Be prepared for chilly mornings and evenings. • You may encounter ants, centipedes, spiders, praying mantises, geckos, wild boars, monkeys, civets, and snakes. 　→ If seen, do not approach or disturb them—please remain calm. • Although we conduct regular pest control, complete prevention is not possible due to the natural surroundings. 　→ If you are highly sensitive to insects, please consider this before booking. ■Access and Facilities • One parking space is available on-site, and additional parking is available along the front road. (A new on-site parking area is currently under construction.) • In winter, roads may be icy—we strongly recommend using snow tires. • If taking a taxi, please book in advance, especially during the busy season. ■ Refund Policy We do not offer refunds due to reasons related to the natural environment or personal preferences — such as odors, insects, temperature, stains, or allergic reactions. Please review this in advance and confirm your understanding before booking. ■ About Fireplace Use The fireplace in this villa is offered as an optional facility; however, it is currently unavailable due to safety checks and maintenance work. Unfortunately, you will not be able to use the fireplace during your stay. We sincerely apologize to guests who were looking forward to using it, but we hope for your kind understanding, as safety is our top priority.
