Log Cabin in the Wilderness

Get Back to Nature while you stay in this cosy off-grid cabin, in the middle of the wilderness and next to a river. Here you can truly relax and recharge your energy, without any noise besides the sounds of Nature. In this cabin you will sleep like a baby and wake up with the sounds of the birds. Far away from the noise and stress in the cities, you can experience the slow Off-Grid life, with a simple outdoor shower and a tripod grill to prepare your food. Welcome back to Nature, in Paradise! The space If you want wilderness and beautiful nature, then this is your place! But don’t expect that everything here works on a push of a button, like in a city hotel. If you are a couch potato or spend hours in front of the mirror or on your mobile phone, then this is not for you… Many things here take time and effort. But you will be rewarded with fantastic sleep, lower stress levels and a big boost for your health! Here you can find peace and distance from a crazy world! The cabin has a large double bed (180x200cm) which can be divided into two single beds (each 90x200cm). There is a also a small loft, where 1 or 2 young kids could sleep and I have a Tippi-Tent and a wonderful Chill-Out-Dome (only available during warmer weather), where you could spent an unforgettable night under the stars, or just use it to chill out, meditate, do Yoga or watch the nature. The cabin is off-grid, but equipped with a solar-powered battery and a basic water system with 20l tanks for the small kitchen area and the outdoor shower. You can fill up the tanks in the main house. Besides the out-house next to the cabin, you can also use the bathroom in the main house (but only for guest staying two nights or longer and keep in mind that the water supply here, is also limited!). If you want to prepare your own food, you can use the open Tripod Grill, or the large Gas-Grill next to the main house. If you need help, in how to prepare meals on an open fire, then I can assist you. (Or, you might want to checkt out the Outdoor Boys on YouTube!…). But if you notify me in advance, you can also order some healthy meals from me and get them delivered in a nice picknick basket, coming by a rail system to your cabin! Or you can also eat in the main house. Keep in mind that all additional rentals, food or services, can only be paid by Swish or in cash. Guest access Besides the Cabin, you can also use the Bathroom in the main house between 8:00 a.m. and 8 p.m. (only for guests staying two nights or more, and with limited water supply) and the Yoga/Fitness-Room during the daytime. There is also a Punching bag, 2 Trampolines and a small outdoor gym area. You can use the tripod fire pit and the gas grill to prepare simple meals. (I can help you if you don’t know how to best cook over open fire. Or you check out some YouTube videos from the Outdoor Boys!…) And you can rent Kajaks, SUPs, a Kanu and a Mountain-Bike for a small fee (payment only by Swish or in cash). With the Kajaks, Kanu and the SUPs you can take a great trip down the beautiful river, to a lake with a beach and a fireplace. From there I can pick you up with the pick-up truck again, so you don’t have to go up the river again. I can also organize longer trips down the river, including over night stays, if you let me know in advance. There is a wood fired Bath-Tub with water coming from the river, if it is not frozen. It takes about 3-7 hours to heat it up (depending on outside temperatures). You can either bring your own firewood for the bathtub and the Tri-pod Grill, or buy it from me, if I have enough available (payment only by Swish or in cash). Then there is also an Infrared Sauna available, which can be rented for 100,- Skr. ( + 50,- Skr. per Person for large towels, to keep the sauna perfectly clean). Payments only with Swish or in cash. Other things to note Keep in mind that we are off-grid, in the middle of the wilderness, and that the next supermarket is 25km away. Maybe it is a good idea to buy food and drinks on your way here already. I don’t have a washing machine here and have to drive a long way to clean the bed sheets and towels of the guests. This takes a lot of time and gasoline and that’s why I have to charge you for the bed sheets and towels (100,- Skr. per person), if you stay for only one night. If you stay for a minimum of 2 nights, the bedding sheets and towels are included in the price. For the Bathtub and the Tri-Pod Grill, you need firewood, which you can buy at most supermarkets or gas stations in Sweden. In case I have enough firewood, you can also buy it from me. Please respect the check-in and check-out times. In urgent situations and on request, I might be able to extend the times for additional fees. But keep in mind that payments can only be made here by Swish or in cash (also for the other things you might want to rent here, like Kajaks, SUP‘s etc. …).
