Log Cabin in the Wilderness

Get Back to Nature while you stay in this cosy off-grid cabin, in the middle of the wilderness and next to a river. Here you can truly relax and recharge your energy, without any noise besides the sounds of Nature. In this cabin you will sleep like a baby and wake up with the sounds of the birds. Far away from the noise and stress in the cities, you can experience the slow Off-Grid life, with a simple outdoor shower and a tripod grill to prepare your food. Welcome back to Nature, in Paradise! The space ATTENTION! At the moment there is no running water in the bathroom, because the well is almost empty, due to the dry weather. Only water available from the river in 20l Kanisters! I built the cabin with natural materials, creating a healthy and comfortable living environment. There's a simple water system with canisters for the small kitchenette and the outdoor shower. Cooking is done either at the fully equipped and covered outdoor kitchen, over an open fire or on the gas grill. Electricity is provided by a solar battery, and in winter, there's also direct power via extension cords. In addition to the outdoor toilet, the bathroom in the main house can be rented (100 SEK per day). The log cabin has a large double bed (180x200cm), which can also be separated into two single beds (90x200cm). There's also a small loft where one or two smaller children could sleep (160cm). I also have a large teepee tent and additional rooms available for sleeping if you're coming with several friends. Check out Airbnb or contact me through this listing if this sounds interesting. A very special attraction is the Chill-Out Dome (available only in warm weather), which can be rented separately for an unforgettable night under the stars, or simply to relax, meditate, or observe nature. In addition to the outdoor gym, yoga room, hiking, relaxing in hammocks, or simply watching the birds and other wildlife, you have the opportunity to book many other activities here: canoeing, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), mountain biking, snowshoeing, fishing, husky tours, hot tub, personal fitness training, and a course on woodworking or growing and preparing healthy food. The absolute highlight is a tour down the beautiful river to the beach, where I can then pick you up again with the pick-up truck, without you having to paddle back upstream. In case the weather is too bad for outdoor activities, you can visit my little wilderness-Shop, where you can buy bird houses and other wooden handmade products. Guest access Next to the cabin, you have access to the yoga/fitness room in the main house, a small outdoor gym with a punching bag, two trampolines, kettlebells, and more. For cooking you have different options: Besides the small kitchen are in the cabin, there is a fully equipped and covered Outdoor „Forest-Kitchen“, a tripod grill and a large gas grill. (I'm happy to give tips on cooking and grilling over an open fire.) You have an outdoor shower with a great view of the forest. A wood fired hot tub and an infrared sauna are also available for rent. There is an outdoor toilet, but you can also use the bathroom in the main house for 100 SEK per day. Kayaks, canoes, and SUPs can be rented by the hour or for the whole day. This allows you to float down the beautiful river to the beach with the fire pit, where I can then pick you up by car (for an additional fee). I can also organize longer tours, including overnight stays at other locations along the river, if you let me know in advance. You can also rent the Nature Dome for a truly unique experience immersed in nature. If you are interested in these additional activities, I would be happy to send you the current price list. Other things to note Keep in mind that we are off-grid, in the middle of the wilderness, and that the next supermarket is 25km away. Maybe it is a good idea to buy food and clean drinking water on your way here already. I don’t have a washing machine here and have to drive a long way to clean the bed sheets and towels of the guests. This takes a lot of time and gasoline and that’s why I have to charge you for the bed sheets and towels (100,- Skr. per person), if you stay for only one night. If you stay for a minimum of 2 nights, the bedding sheets and towels are included in the price. For the Bathtub and the Tri-Pod Grill, you need firewood, which you can buy at most supermarkets or gas stations in Sweden. In case I have enough firewood, you can also buy it from me. Please respect the check-in and check-out times. In urgent situations and on request, I might be able to extend the times for additional fees.
