Miss Honey’s Cottage

Miss Honey’s Cottage is straight out of a story book. Filled with warm tones, charming details and a cozy atmosphere, you will want to make a cup of tea and curl up with a good book, enjoy a cup of coffee on the front porch swing, or visit with your friends and family in a welcoming and inviting home. I have provided a game cabinet, stocked kitchen, and outside seating with a fire pit. This 900 sq ft, 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom house is 4 blocks from downtown in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood. The space The 1st bedroom has a queen bed with a firm mattress. A four in mattress topper is available on request. The 2nd bedroom has a twin bed with a twin trundle bed. The trundle pops up to the same height as the twin and can be pushed together to feel like a king. The bathroom and closet are “Jack and Jill” style accessible from both bedrooms. There is no bathtub, the shower is a step in with easy low entry. The kitchen is fairly well stocked including a coffee pot, k cup machine, French press, electric water kettle, toaster, air fryer, and blender. The stove and oven are apartment sized. The oven will hold a medium sized pizza. Check-in and out are often flexible, just reach out and we can make a plan. This house is a cozy cottage. If you want modern or minimalist, you will want to stay elsewhere. If you love character, charm, and warm colors, you will love our little getaway. We designed and curated the house up with the comfort of our family and friends in mind. Every detail is thoughtful. We live next door so we are available if you have any problems. We would be happy to start a fire in the fire pit and can provide extra lawn chairs on request. The back yard is enclosed with a 32 inch high fence. Guest access Access to the whole house and fenced back yard area. We do have 2 labradoodle dogs and my daughter’s gentle heeler mix dog is staying for a while. They might spot you from our fenced back yard. They are friendly. We listen for them and if they bark at you, we limit their trips outside to when the yard next door is not being enjoyed by guests.
