Edge House is the perfect year-round escape. From cosy evenings in front of the fire overlooking the mesmerising crashes of the waves below to summer days spent on the beach, enjoying the kayaks which we have available for you to borrow as well as the many stunning walks and adventures which are right on our doorstep. We have created a home where guests can enjoy the coastal views from all of the terraces, living spaces and even the hot tub allowing our guests to fully submerse themselves into the tranquillity that the natural landscape that surrounds us has to offer. The open plan living area is ideal for spending quality time together, whilst the bedrooms and separate living room space allow guests more intimate spaces where they can truly switch off and watch the world go by. The space: Guests will enter through the unique bespoke bronze front door and into an impressive entrance hallway featuring double height space and cosy seating for two, a perfect spot to put on those walking boots while watching the sun cast shadows over the smooth concrete interior. First Floor: As you walk up the stairs, you will be confronted by the incredible views towards the ocean. The open plan kitchen, dining and living room is the perfect space to spend time relaxing as a family as well as entertaining. The kitchen area is the ideal space for home dining, although you may wish to arrange for our very own Michelin star chef to attend should you be celebrating a special occasion or simply to experience that ultimate sense of luxury (please get in touch for more details on this). The kitchen benefits from Neff double ovens, warming drawers, integrated microwave, fridge freezer, induction hob and extractor, smeg toaster, nespresso vertuo coffee machine and Quooker hot tap. There are two dining areas which you can choose from, all linking from the kitchen. Choose from a more casual dining area with wrap around benches or the larger more formal dining table which seats 8 and overlooks the living room, drawing your gaze across to the sea and beyond. An open lounge area gathered around an inset log burner invites you to relax and take in the scenery. With two generous sized sofas and two large coffee tables there is plenty of room to unwind after a busy day exploring. Light the fire with ease as firelighters, kindling and logs will be provided as part of your stay. A TV plus a selection of books and board games can be found hidden behind a bank of forbo doors. Slide back the glass to access the balcony. A bistro set for two sits on yet another hand made reclaimed Cutty Sark deck, perfect for a morning coffee and croissant while you watch the sun rise. Overlooking Aberporth beach and village, the second living area 'The Snug' allows guests a more intimate space where you can switch off, take a breath and watch the world go by. Take a moment to pause, breathe and watch the locals and holiday makers on the beach below, watch as they make memories and share special moments. For cosy, winter nights, the stunning wood burner can be lit which will add to the ambience, providing the perfect back addition to any stormy winter evenings. The master bedroom benefits from a floating super king size bed. Storage includes bedside tables, dressing table and stool. The sea views can be enjoyed from both the master bedroom and en-suite which features a luxury free standing bath overlooking the sea and countryside beyond as well as a large walk-in shower, WC and hand basin. Guests can also enjoy products by The Good Wash Company for that added sense of opulence. Note that all bedrooms benefit from floor to ceiling windows which flood the spaces with natural light, drawing your gaze out to the endless horizon. We also offer complementary robes and hairdryers in each bedroom. Three of the four bedrooms are located on the ground floor while the master bedroom is situated on the first floor. All bedrooms on the ground floor have access via sliding windows to the outside decked sun terrace. Ground floor: Bedroom 1 features a comfortable floating king size bed. Enjoy your morning coffee and watch the sun rise within a private seating area for two overlooking the rear garden and clifftop hot tub. Storage includes wardrobes with bedside tables. Bedroom 2 is tucked away at the innermost corner of the house. It offers another floating king size bed, bespoke cabinetry and breath-taking views. Storage includes wardrobes and bed side cabinets. Behind a cobalt blue glass door you will find an ensuite with cast concrete walk in shower, sink and WC. Bedroom 3 has been angled to maximise the view of the ocean and cliff face. From the comfort of another king size bed you can watch the sparrow hawks nesting within the wildflowers and gorse. Storage includes wardrobes with bedside tables. Cocooned within the concrete core of the house lies the family bathroom. This sleek white room features a free-standing stone bath with shower attachment, heated towel stand , walk-in shower, WC and hand basin. Perhaps one of the most practical rooms in the house is our utility and shower room. Here you will find walls clad in bold blue forbo and striking glass splash backs. The locker style cabinets house a washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge and a supply of beach towels and life jackets. We even have towels dedicated for sandy paws. The shower area includes two rain showers and complimentary luxury Goodwash Products . Stand on a piece of history with our shower deck made using reclaimed teak from the Cutty Sark. Outside The rear garden is where you will find the clifftop hot tub , sun loungers and an outdoor dining area. A wonderful spot to enjoy an evening star gazing from the tub. ​To the front of the property is a small south facing courtyard complete with outdoor kitchen, gas BBQ, casual dining area, chairs, bench and outdoor shower. The Edge House Woof wash can also be found here along with hot and cold water mixer tap. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire space. Access to Edge House is via an electric oak gate. There are two parking spaces at the rear of the property . The front gate and car parking are covered by CCTV for your peace of mind. Our neighbours to the rear of the property have a right of way through our land and also use the main gate so we do ask that cars are not left on our drive as they may obscure their access. Pets are welcome and we have a handy Woof Wash, pet beds and bowls at the property. Note that the front gate and drive is in use by the neighbours as well as guests staying at Edge House, this is something that pet owners should be aware of when pets are outside. Other things to note PLEASE NOTE that due to the design of the house, we cannot accept any children under 6. CCTV (which includes audio recording) is in operation on the outside of the property.
