Escape to The Pig Hut at Tan Y Graig Retreat — a cosy eco hideaway in the Berwyn Mountains with stunning Dee Valley views. Once a farm shelter, now a snug retreat with outdoor bath, eco ethanol fire, Roku TV, Wi-Fi, and organic touches. A short 2-min walk from parking, set on a working farm with chickens, sheep, and ponies (please don’t feed them). Dog-friendly, with optional extras like hampers, towels, and laundry. A peaceful, authentic Welsh countryside escape. The space The Pig Hut is a beautifully converted farm shelter, designed with comfort and character in mind. Inside, you’ll find: • A snug double bed with quality linens • Eco-ethanol fire for cosy evenings • Equipped kitchenette with hob, fridge, kettle, and essentials • Modern shower room with fluffy towels provided • Smart Roku TV and Wi-Fi Outside, relax in the private outdoor bath, enjoy mountain views from the seating area, or stargaze on clear nights. Guest access Guests have full private access to The Pig Hut, including the outdoor bath and seating area. Parking is available nearby and free— please note, you cannot park directly outside the hut. It’s just a short 2-minute walk along a path to reach your cosy retreat Other things to note Please be mindful that the hut is on a working smallholding with horses and chickens nearby. • Additional towels are available for £5 each (to cover laundry). • Dressing gowns can be provided for £10 on request. • In very cold weather, the outdoor bath taps may be turned off to prevent freezing. An alternative mixer tap with hose is provided to keep your soak going. • For fire safety, the meeting point in case of emergency is by the pond in the main garden. • We encourage eco-friendly living: recycling facilities, eco-cleaning products, and energy-efficient systems are in place. ⸻ Pet Package 🐾 We welcome one well-behaved dog (or small pet) to join you on your stay at The Pig Hut for an additional charge of £30 per stay. Our Pet Package includes: • A cosy blanket for your furry friend • A feeding and water bowl • A few tasty treats to make them feel at home • Waste bags for your convenience Please note: • Pets are not allowed on the bed or furniture. • An additional cleaning charge is included in the package to ensure the hut remains spotless for all guests. • The outdoor space is perfect for fresh-air strolls, but as we are a smallholding with horses and chickens, we kindly ask pets to be kept under control at all times.
