House on the lake with jetty, boat, fireplace and sauna

Here you can enjoy the tranquility of the Mecklenburg Lake District far away from the tourist hot spots. The cottage is located directly on the lake with a private jetty and boat. It is somewhat hidden on the edge of the village of Wanzka, where there is an old monastery. The monks have certainly already appreciated the tranquility and the unique location in the middle of two lakes. Even if you are completely undisturbed here, any accompanying kids will quickly find a connection at the nearby bathing spot of the village. The space Your vacation home is an old thatched fisherman's hut. We took over the house during the pandemic from an old-established family and carefully renovated the interior to reconnect with the history of the house. In 2021, we newly furnished a sauna. It can be used for a fee with tokens. A token costs 5 euros and you can use it to operate the oven for an hour.
