Being located in Port Ellen gives you a fantastic starting point for most sightseeing to be done on Islay, whether by car, foot, bus or bike there is plenty to do and see. Just minutes to Ferry terminal, shops, restaurants, pubs and bus stops. The 'three distillery path' starts opposite 20 mtrs away, a nice walk not just for distilleries, also for wildlife, views and the Islay fresh air. The space My housekeeper already has high cleaning standards and will enhance her cleaning routine to wipe ALL touchable surfaces and follow Airbnb cleaning protocol, and more.... -------- Almost EVERYTHING YOU NEED FOR A SHORT STAY, no need to buy household supplies. Flat can sleep 4 persons. Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, liquid hand soap and toilet paper is provided, as are kitchen washing supplies for washing machine and dishwasher. Due to the size of the bathroom, the shower cubical is on the smaller size. Electricity is provided - electric heater in every room. OK it's got woodchip on some walls, 'love it or hate it'!! It gives Tarsgeir No.6 a bit of character. Located on an Island can sometimes mean Ferries and Flights can be cancelled at short notice, please consider travel insurance for such cancellations. Tarsgeir No.6 is an upper flat, in a block of 4 ( 2 up, 2 down) with its own entrance. There is a pebbled area at the front-left hand side of Tarsgeir No.6 and a rear garden with blue picnic table for your use, perfect in the summer nights after a day's sightseeing or distillery touring. Guest access You are very welcome to Tarsgeir No.6. a passcode for access will be provided 2-3 days prior to you arrival. You will have sole use of the property. Electric central heating with additional manual heaters for every room. The usual kitchen appliances, cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer washing machine and dishwasher, outside drying area. Other things to note Please be respectful of permanent residence who reside around Tarsgeir. Please remember Tarsgeir No.6 has DOWNSTAIRS NEIGHBOURS.
