Alpine Adobe - Historic 1930

With 3 spacious bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, Alpine Adobe is the perfect vacation rental while visiting Alpine. Two original murals are featured in the exterior entry of the home, created by the original builder, Elizabeth Keefer Boatright in 1930. Come experience the rich history and creative spirit of the Alpine Adobe for yourself. The space Step inside and you'll be greeted by a warm and inviting living space, full of unique touches and artwork by local artists. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances and everything you need to cook a delicious meal. There is plenty of room in the living and dining room for all to spreadout. A cozy king bed takes center stage in the primary bedroom and just down the hall is a queen bed in the guest room. Upstairs is the third bedroom and second bathroom. With the full-size bed and twin bunks for extra guests, everyone will have a comfortable place to sleep. AC/HEAT keeps the house comfortable all year round. Split units with remote controls for hot and cold air throughout the Adobe are available. We’ve also added a HEPA air purifier for each bedroom. The kiva is a beautiful feature of the Alpine Adobe. Due to safety and insurance reasons, guests are not allowed to light fires in the kiva. Guest access With access to the entire home, you can relax in the Adobe, listen to music, make art, read a book, nap, view the spectacular sunset, and or get out and explore the Big Bend region! The wine fridge will be locked and not accessible to guests. Feel free to BYOB and make your own cocktails at the bar. Other things to note Go out and explore! Outside you can enjoy four wooden chairs by the fire pit (check the burn ban before lighting). Or you can dine under the stars and view deer and they stroll on by. Take a walk to Front Street Books, to art galleries and/or write music, while strumming your guitar in the backyard. On the front porch, you can enjoy a prickly pear margarita or mocktail in the evenings. You can admire the art by Betty Keefer and wave to passersby. Big Bend Telephone provides fast internet. You can take Zoom meetings and stream from multiple devices if needed. Smart TVs are available for watching your favorite shows. Be sure to bring your login details to stream from your favorite apps. Security cameras are outside of the Alpine Adobe. There’s plenty of parking. The Alpine Adobe is a homegrown dream of the homeowner, and it’s been updated to meet modern safety and living standards.
