Milly's Place is a clean, cozy, comfortable home in a quiet neighbourhood within walking distance of historic downtown with biking and hiking trails. COMPLETELY REMODELED kitchen with new appliances, cabinetry and flooring are great to come home to after playing in the mountains all day! Great location for small groups of friends or a family get-away. Children and pets (2 dogs max. with PRIOR APPROVAL and a $50 flat pet fee) welcome! (STR-041) 2 upstairs bedrooms with Queen beds, Tempur-Pedic mattresses, and mountain views. 3rd upstairs bedroom with bunk beds just opened up. Large Master on the main floor has a full Tempur-Pedic bed and private bath. Quiet neighborhood across the street from Cottonwood Creek which during summer months can be heard through the west-facing bedroom windows. Milly's Place is within easy walking distance (.25 miles) of historic downtown with its quaint shops, restaurants, Town Lake and the Arkansas River. Enjoy a cup of coffee in the back yard with the morning birds before heading out for a day of fun! Upon your return, you will enjoy relaxing or grilling on the secluded back deck to watch the sun set on the mountains. Guests have full and exclusive access to the entire house as well as the deck and back yard behind the house during their stay. Be aware that although the back yard is private, it is not fully fenced. The attached garage and large shop behind the house are off-limits to guests. (STR-041) Most often, your host will be available to meet you and to answer any questions you may have. Check-in is after 4:00 pm and I will message you 24 hours prior to your arrival with check-in details. You may check yourself in at your convenience. Most often, I will be coming and going to the private shop behind the house in the event that guests need any assistance and I may be reached anytime by messaging or by cell phone. The home is located on a quiet street on .25 acres in town which gives you a sense of the country, rather than having close neighbors peering in through the windows. When using the back deck and fire pit area behind the house, especially later at night, please be considerate of sleeping neighbors and keep the conversations low. Please respect the town ordinance of 10pm 'Quiet Hours' rule. Town is walkable and definitely great by bike but be aware, we have no Ubers here! Guests may park in front of the house on the concrete pad as well as on the far-left side gravel drive as you face the house. Please remember to leave the far-right side gravel driveway open for me at all times so that I have access to my private shop and garden area behind the house.
