Description

The cabin has three bedrooms and one full bathroom. The kitchen is stocked with a refrigerator, oven, microwave, toaster, coffeemaker, and cooking utensils. In the living room, we have a wood stove fireplace and board games. In the summer, guests will have access to the community pool. This is a rustic house, and is priced accordingly. We love the cozy feel of it and is quite comfortable. Please note that there is no AC, WiFi, TV, or music system...this is your chance to get away from it all. The space This secluded accommodation outside of Sisters is an ideal getaway for a group of friends or families with children who want to explore the rustic beauty of the central Oregon area. On the property, guests can ride bikes or go for leisurely strolls on the trails that weave throughout the trees. Nearby, Sisters is bustling with activity, offering guestss the chance for a delicious local meal in one of the town's restaurants or an afternoon of window shopping in the boutiques and art galleries. At Three Creeks Brewing Pub, guests can try an Oregon microbrew, or head to Creekside City Park for a picnic at one of the barbecue pits in the area. Sisters also has an annual rodeo in June and a growing music scene, with a few popular venues that often feature live music by night. Guests can also venture into the surrounding Willamette National Forest, with rafting and fishing opportunities on the nearby Metolius and Deschutes Rivers, to hiking trails winding through the mountains near the cabin. The McKenzie Pass loop offers great views for hikers and more relaxed walkers alike, while the Sahalie and Koosah Falls are excellent destinations for guests of any age. Hoodoo Ski Area, which is only 20 miles up the road, or Mt. Bachelor, about an hour away, are both popular destinations for skiers and snowboarders hoping to try the local slopes in the winter time. Guest access You have access to the entire house and the garage. Feel free to use the bikes and toys in the garage. No promises about the shape they are in though. Other things to note There is consistent cell service (at least for Verizon and we have not heard otherwise from other carriers), but no WiFi. We have made a conscious decision to limit electronics at the cabin. If you need WiFi or cable, this may not be the place for you. On the other hand, if you want to hang out with family and/or friends in a nice comfortable place, we got you!
