Original features and exposed beams give the building its enduring character, balanced with organic touches that create a relaxed, restorative feel. Set on a hillside with private garden (across a courtyard) surrounded by fields and woodland — where pheasants, woodpeckers and horses passing along nearby lanes form the morning chorus — and with sea views and three secluded beaches from approx 6 min walk from property - it offers a rare blend of countryside stillness and coastal closeness. Peaceful and private, yet a short bus ride, drive or cycle from the restaurants, shops and amenities of St Martin’s village, Gorey and beyond. Fliquet is a uniquely well-balanced location, positioned between Rozel and St Catherine’s Breakwater. From here, guests can enjoy historic exploration (war bunkers, the Dolmen archaeological site and Fliquet Tower), woodland walks through St Catherine’s Woods, coastal hikes, wild sauna experiences, access to equine centres, oyster farm experiences, and a range of boat tours exploring Jersey’s coastline and neighbouring islands — including day trips to France. Jersey is also an exceptional destination for outdoor adventure, with opportunities for coasteering, kayaking, sailing, surfing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, jet skiing, paddle boarding and sand surfing, alongside cliff paths, coastal swimming and open-water exploration — making the island as energising as it is restorative. The property is set across three staggered floors and has its own private access, with parking for up to three cars. Sleeping up to 12 guests, it is well suited to families and friends gathering together, offering both shared spaces and quieter corners to retreat to. Sleeping arrangements include: • 1 x double room with king-size bed — skylight valley/woodland views • 1 x triple “through” room (double and single bed) — valley/woodland views with distant sea views • 1 x double room (double bed) — sea views towards France • 1 x twin room (two single beds, can also be made into a double) — skylight field/sea views • 1 x enclosed cabin bed (curtained off on the landing) — a tucked-away sleeping spot • 2 x single sofa beds (in the living room) The house includes: • Kitchen/dining room with oven, induction hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washer-dryer — field/woodland view with a distant sea view • 2 bathrooms (one with bath/shower and one shower only) • Entry/boot room — ideal for sandy shoes, walking boots and outdoor gear For families travelling with young children, a high chair, travel cot, potty and toys can be provided on request as well as age-appropriate activities, parks and playgrounds.
