BEFORE SEPTEMBER 8 THIS IS A 5-BEDROOM, 2 BATH HOUSE, UPSTAIRS ONLY, THAT SLEEPS 14 PEOPLE. PRICES HAVE BEEN ADJUSTED ACCORDING TO THESE DATES. This 7-bedroom house in Black Forest (Colorado Springs) is perfect for your escape! Rent the whole house (upstairs and downstairs) that can sleep 20 and has 3 bathrooms, OR rent just the upstairs with 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms that can sleep 14. (To rent the UPSTAIRS ONLY, look up VRBO listing #5374958. Use the current listing to rent the entire house. If only the upstairs is rented the downstairs will be left vacant and locked. We will not double book.) With 4 king beds, 2 queen beds, a bunk room with TWO twin-over-full bunk beds, and a sofa bed, guests will have plenty of space to relax. There are three full bathrooms (2 are walk-in shower only) and each are equipped with hair dryers, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash for added convenience. There is also a bonus room with toys for young children and en extra TV! Downstairs is a second living room, kitchenette, TV, and hang out area with games and foosball. The large upstairs kitchen has everything you need to prepare family meals, and there is dining space for at least 14. Need to do laundry? No problem! There is a full size washer and dryer. Enjoy the forest views from the large deck and serene atmosphere of this amazing 2.5-acre, forested property. The backyard has a gas fire pit with seating and a play area for kids constructed out of logs harvested from the property. (Pictures coming soon!) Enjoy games as a family in the backyard during the day, like corn hole and horseshoes, or into the twilight hours with cafe lighting to illuminate the space. There is additional dining space on the deck with a table for 6, an additional kid's picnic table, and a flattop grill (ready to use with propane). The living room has double doors and screens to open up to the large deck, as does the master bedroom. The downstairs also has access to the backyard. Guests will often see deer and wild turkey during their stay. Keep an eye out for foxes, eagles, and hawks as well! There is plenty of parking on the large driveway and a great 4.5-mile hiking trail a 1/4 mile walk down our road. Even walking the dirt roads in the neighborhood is like a lovely walk through the woods! This is the perfect home for a family reunion, to prep for a wedding, or hold a small retreat. Guests have hosted rehearsal dinners and post-wedding brunches at the property. This is allowed as long as you ask ahead of time. (Please no drunken ragers.) THIS IS A NO SMOKING PROPERTY. Smoking, or fires of any kind (including cigarettes/cigars/marijuana/fireworks/firecrackers/sparklers) are not allowed. We are at extreme risk of forest fires after a dry winter. Please do not smoke on the property. Even cigarette butts are a serious concern at the moment.
