We want your arrival to be as smooth as possible so you can start enjoying your stay from the very first moments. You will find the apartment key next to the door in a key box. You can use the key box every time you go out if you wish (it helps avoid losing the key at the beach, for example). Other things to note The apartment has been completely renovated, and the work has been finished in November 2025. The furniture is being shipped from mainland France by boat, and some pieces are not yet on the photos. I am offering a more attractive rate in December, as we may not yet be at 100% of the level of service we aim to provide during the first few days. There are always some adjustments to make in the beginning, which is why the rate is reduced. The accommodation is equipped with a private water cistern. From time to time in St. Martin, there may be occasional drops in water pressure and, more regrettably, occasional water outages (and even more rarely power outages). This can happen anywhere, but it is more likely on an island like St. Martin than on the mainland. The reasons are as follows: The island can be affected by specific weather conditions, such as tropical storms, which can damage infrastructure, including the water distribution network. The topography also makes the infrastructure vulnerable. Saint Martin is an island with hilly terrain (beautiful, but it complicates the network), which makes maintenance and repairs more challenging. Strong population growth and high water demand during peak season also contribute to pressure on the water distribution system. The cistern (300L) will take over in the event of a water outage.
