Grass Campers Cow Farm Cottage

Come experience a true Florida country life paradise at our 10 acre farm & cattle pasture .This property is Surrounded by horse farms & cattle pastures with near by natural springs & nature trails. At the property visit with the cows, hang out around the fire pit or in our cottage. You will have the opportunity to truly experience all of the beauty that Florida has to offer with near by kayaking, canoeing, horseback riding, even zip lining. There is so much to do within minutes of location. The space The cottage is located on 10 acres of cattle pasture and cattle farm . It is an active cattle farm and employees will be on property Monday-Friday 7am until 5pm. the cottage is located between the barn and the white warehouse building. Guest are encouraged to relax in the outdoors, enjoy the fire pit and visit with the cows. The cottage is a 400 sq ft air conditioned space. It is complete with a king size bed, chairs, a tiny dinette set for 2, a kitchenette with a sink, coffee maker microwave & fridge and a full bathroom. Linens, towels, dish soap and shampoo are provided . We do not have a stove or oven so please plan meals accordingly . The cottage has beautiful high ceilings to give a spacious feel with large windows to have view of the stars from the bed. The ceiling windows do not have a covering so you can enjoy the sunrise in the morning. We do not have have Wifi or cable so come prepared to read a book, chat with one another, play a game or enjoy the quiet of the country. Just consider it a perfect excuse to disconnect with the outside world & spend time with nature. Guest access Guest are invited to snuggle up with a book or games indoors, enjoy the outdoors, visit with the cows, relax under barn and enjoy the firepit in the evenings. The WAREHOUSE SPACE IS OFF LIMITS We provide a small amount of firewood for your stay. If you wish to have long hours of the fire pit please consider bringing your own fire wood Other things to note Come experience a true raw Florida country life paradise at our 10 acre farm and cattle pasture . Our property is perfectly located between Gainesville Florida and Ocala Florida with a short 25 minute drive to either destination. This property is Surrounded by horse farms, cattle pastures, natural springs, The World Equestrian Center, and many lakes and rivers. At the property itself you can visit with the cows, relax in the shade or hang out in our covered entertainment space. You will have the opportunity to truly experience all of the beautiful nature that central florida has to offer from kayaking, canoeing, horseback riding and even zip lining. There is so much to do within minutes of your camping location. You will experience total tranquility on this country dead end road yet be close enough to small food marts, local diners, and quaint shops to cater to any needs you might have during your stay. This property has wide open spaces complete with a large fire pit with bench seating, air conditioned bathrooms and running water. This farm property is a convenient 20 minutes from The World Equestrian Center, 8 minutes from Orange Lake, 10 minutes to Canyon ziplining, 15 minutes from Blue Highway Pizza and pearls barbecue , 20 minutes to Paynes Prairie Preserve State Park, 25 minutes from homestead park for axe throwing and nightly entertainment, 28 minutes to Silver Springs State Park, 30 minutes to Cactus Jacks trail rides, 30 minutes to Santos Trail Head, 35 minutes to Hog Waller, 45 minutes to Rainbow River and many more exciting outdoor adventures. So come stay on our wide open pastures here at Grass Campers Farm and enjoy everything nature has to offer here in central Florida. ** If a pet will be joining you during your stay they must be kept leashed and or crated during the stay and PETS can NOT BE LEFT UNATTENDED . ** sites include indoor bathroom and shower as well as an outdoor shower if desired ** sites also include a bag of grain to feed the cows ** Closest convenient store is the Dollar General located less than a mile from location ** closest near by restaurants are in micanopy 15 minutes away - blue highway pizza is a local favorite of ours ** you can also visit Pearl’s barbecue in the gas station at the Micanopy intersection just past blue highway ** You can find grocery stores in Williston or Ocala or Gainesville ** When there is a burn ban in the area the fire pit is not allowedWe provide a small amount of firewood for your stay.
