Garden Cottage in Oxfordshire countryside

Garden Cottage is a unique, one bedroomed stone built cottage in the pretty village of Tackley. Newly renovated and decorated, the cottage sleeps up to 2 people and provides the perfect base from which to visit nearby Blenheim Palace, Bicester Village and the historic city of Oxford. The Cotswolds are also within an easy drive. Whether you're sightseeing further afield or enjoying countryside walks direct from the door, we hope you'll have a relaxing and enjoyable stay here at Garden Cottage. The space Garden Cottage is set back from a single track lane and comprises a fully equipped kitchen with dining area, downstairs bathroom and a spacious bedroom upstairs. There's also an entrance hall and large storage cupboard for suitcases and other belongings. There's no separate living room. The accommodation is suitable for up to 2 people (sorry, no children or pets) so is ideal for individuals or couples. Please note that we do not have parking at the property but there is free parking close by. Guest access You will have full use of the cottage which is situated next to our own home. It’s completely detached with its own entrance and you’ll have independent access with a lockbox. You’re welcome to enjoy the garden to the front of the property which is set up with a small table and chairs for your use. The gravel path is shared with our own home so you may see us and our dog coming and going from time to time. We will of course respect your privacy during your stay. Some of the windows overlook our back garden, however you will not have access to this space. Other things to note There’s a folder with instructions for the appliances in the cottage as well as information on the local area, things to do and places to eat and drink etc. We’ll also be very happy to help with any aspect of your stay, so please do ask if you'd like further information or recommendations. Oxford Airport is 4 miles away. One of its flight paths is over Tackley, so depending on the flight path rota we do get small and medium sized planes flying overhead. However, this is only during the day.
