Connect with nature and rescued farmed animals at this unique stay. The Lodge is at the heart of a vegan sanctuary for rescued farmed animals. Stay amongst turkeys, pigs, ducks, sheep, cockerels, goats, rabbits and chickens and you can choose to help at the sanctuary or relax in the safe and rural environment. The Lodge is a great space to stay with comfy beds, fantastic walk in shower, WIFI and TV. American pool and darts room. The space The Lodge is set within a 35 acre animal sanctuary and can be set up as twin beds or a double bed. Great location for couples or friends and an airbed can be made available for children at a small additional cost for breakfast. The Lodge has a sofa, TV, free WIFI, small dining table.Deliveroo and Ubereats are both available in the area. There is a bathroom with a walk in shower, supplies for the shower are provided, all cruelty free and vegan. Tea and coffee facilities are provided with plant based milk. A vegan continental breakfast is provided. On site secure free parking. Close to the Tamworth, Lichfield, NEC, Birmingham, Coventry and Hinckley. Close to Atherstone train station, one hour from London. Taxis can be organised for travel, including Uber. If you haven't got plans then fixed volunteering activities at the sanctuary can be arranged at no extra cost. Plant based food only on site Pets are welcome (must not interact with any sanctuary animal) No smoking in the property. Guest access The Lodge is independent from the main house and within the main animal sanctuary space. There are clear boundaries for the main house, The Lodge and animal spaces. The sanctuary has gates for security and The Lodge has separate front door keys. You will be given contact details for the main house on arrival The is 24 hour access for you using the key code and you are free to come and go as you please. Other things to note This is a working Farmed Animal Sanctuary with animals being cared for 24 hours a day. Volunteering opportunities are available during your stay, you can spend time with goats, sheep, ducks, pigs, turkeys, chickens, cockerels and rabbits. The animal sanctuary is plant based and no animal products are consumed on site. Animals are not to be fed unless planned as an organised activity.
