Just a short journey from York, our home offers the ideal balance of countryside tranquillity and city convenience. Within the village, you’ll find two wonderful pubs, scenic riverside and countryside walks, great cycle routes and the historic grounds of the Beningbrough Hall estate right on the doorstep. The property offers free parking, including EV charging for a small additional cost. We live here with our two friendly whippets and are pleased to offer dog friendly accommodation for guests travelling with their four legged companions. Please note that we do not allow dogs to be left on their own in the room. But don’t worry we have a very dog friendly pub in the village! We have two guest bedrooms available (see our other listing). All guests can enjoy the guest snug on the ground floor a cosy, welcoming space to relax, unwind and soak up the farmhouse atmosphere. Bookings include access to our guest snug on the ground floor, with additional use of the dining and office spaces, providing a cosy and flexible area to relax, work or unwind during your stay. Please note we can also offer secure storage for bicycles. During your stay On arrival, we will warmly welcome you and give a brief tour of the house to help you get settled. After that, you’ll have full access to the house and its shared facilities, so you can relax and make yourself completely at home. We are readily on hand for any questions or general advice.
