The main floor features a formal living room with a cozy fireplace perfect for conversation or enjoying a good book, and a dining room that seats eight. The fully equipped gourmet kitchen boasts custom blue cabinetry, granite countertops, a large gas stove, espresso machine, microwave, and dishwasher. Just off the kitchen, a breakfast nook with seating for three offers what might be the best view in the house. This home comfortably sleeps up to 14 guests across four bedrooms and additional flexible sleeping spaces. Bedding is provided for all beds, sleeper sofas, and the air mattress. For families with little ones, a Pack 'n Play travel crib is available. First Floor: Features a king bedroom, a dedicated office with a sleeper sofa, a half-bath with laundry, and a full bathroom with a custom steam shower and bidet toilet. Second Floor: A relaxed lounge area with a flat-screen TV, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a lounger that sleeps two. This floor includes a queen bedroom, a king bedroom, a sitting room with a pull-out couch, and two full bathrooms with custom tiled walk-in showers. The only exceptions are the basement, the cupola, and a locked owner's closet. The home shares the 117-acre property with a smaller carriage house that is also for rent. We kindly ask that you respect the privacy of the carriage house guests when using any of the shared paths on the property. Other things to note This home is perfect for mature adults, families, and friends seeking a peaceful getaway. To respect our full-time neighbors, we cannot accommodate parties or events. Occupancy is legally limited to a maximum of 8 guests. While we love furry friends, we are unable to accommodate pets at this time. Getting Around: A vehicle is essential for exploring the area. Please be aware that we are located in Northern Vermont, where weather can be unpredictable. During the winter and spring months, a 4x4 or AWD vehicle is required. Our road and private driveway are professionally maintained with snow removal, but are in fact dirt. Remote Setting: With peace and solitude comes distance. The nearest hospital, major grocery store, and pharmacy are about a half-hour away. Local general stores and farm stands are closer for smaller items. Wildlife: We are in a remote area where wildlife (including bears, deer, moose, bobcats, mice, and insects) are present. Please be mindful of your surroundings.
