Teide & Sea view, Banana Plantation Experience.

Banana Experience on Puerto de la Cruz, a tourist lively village near the sea which preserves the roots of a fishing village. On this 110.000 m2 banana plantation you can watch the bananas, the fruit trees and roses of various types. Also you can do some birdwatching as there are many different birds. This is a gem in the middle of the construction. The Teide & Sea views are an experience itself. During the morning you will see some workers but you have privacy. Only 3 km to the sea. The space The house has 2 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. Beds are 1,60 m x 2 metres The kitchen is a dream, very comfortable. The sitting area takes you to the terrace with all the views to the valley, Puerto de la Cruz and the sea. Aditionally there is another terrace downstaris on the ground level, ideal to seat watching the Teide Views. The roof and all exterior woodwork have high thermal insulation, protecting you from the heat. Additionally, the fans in all rooms (bedrooms, living room, and kitchen) move the air to cool the room. So the temperature inside is very pleasant. The house has an electric car charger for your rental car (free of charge). On the back of the building there is another house, totally independent, where the foreman lives. You will rarely see him but it is nice having someone there in case there is anything you need. Other things to note On the kitchen the quality modern oven has also the function of a microwave. There are 195 metres on the road to the house that are dirt. But a rental car can do without any problem. You can experience what it's like to live on a banana farm and, of course, move freely around this 118,000 m2 property. You should walk with caution as this is a rural setting, with irrigation systems that you may trip over. You should be aware that you are in a rural setting, free of pesticides (this is a sustainable agriculture farm), so you may encounter insects, butterflies, and lizards, which are part of the farm's ecosystem and, in turn, greatly benefit it. The farm is ideal for birdwatching. This farm is home to partridges, woodcocks (endangered species), blackbirds, canaries, and goldfinches. There are rosebushes of various types on the farm. There are also fruit trees such as a mango tree, a banana-apple tree, and a Hass-Antillean avocado tree. The farm is located 428 meters from a Lidl and 640 meters from a restaurant. During the morning you will see some workers. In general, this is a quiet place ideal for walkers that want to be 7 minutes driving from the sea. The bus stop is 540 meters away.
