On a foothill of the Rehberg above the city center of Kulmbach lies our studio for two people with views over the Maintal in a large park-like garden - close to the city and yet in the countryside! The space The apartment has a separate entrance with a wardrobe and consists of a room with a double bed (1.40 m wide) and kitchenette with pantry kitchen as well as shower/toilet on 24 m². In front of the entrance is a partially covered west-facing terrace with a grill, where you can enjoy the evening sun wonderfully. If you want, you can also sit by the campfire at the fire pit 15 m away in the garden. On foot, you can reach the market square in the old town with its pubs and restaurants via a slightly steeper footpath downhill (about 45 meters) in 3-5 minutes, faster than by car. For loading and unloading, you can drive by car directly to the house. Then it goes down a staircase with 26 steps and around the house. Private parking and storage facilities for bicycles are provided. Your hosts live in the house and are happy to help you. For longer stays, housekeeping/cleaning is weekly. Our region at the interface between Franconian Switzerland, Franconian Forest and Fichtel Mountains has a diverse range of culture and leisure activities to offer. In addition to the medieval old town and the Plassenburg in Kulmbach, it is not far to the festival city of Bayreuth with the Wagner Festival Hall, Hermitage and Fantaisie Castle, to historic Bamberg with the cathedral and old town as well as to Kronach with the Rosenberg Fortress. The climbing paradise Franconian Switzerland is just around the corner. Mountain biking can be done in the Franconian Forest, in Franconian Switzerland or directly from the apartment on the Rehberg. But hiking in the quaint valleys of the Franconian Forest and Franconian Switzerland with their cliffs and castles is also an experience. In addition, there are a number of swimming lakes, such as the one in the Mainaue, the Trebgaster Badesee or the Goldbergsee. We are happy to give you tips.
