Pane Vivente's residential location enables our guests to truly relax away from the hustle & bustle of the busy main road while allowing them to immerse themselves in the towns thriving cultural landscape. Please note that we are approximately 1.5km from the CBD. Cottage has access to the back garden with mature trees and lawn. Comfortably sleeps two adults only or two adults and two children on the double sleeper couch. Not suitable for four adults. Safe parking for one vehicle per booking. The space Our Garden Cottage has a bedroom with queen size bed and en suite bathroom with shower, basin and toilet. Please let us know if you are traveling as two single guests so we can make up the sleeper couch. The sitting area has a double sleeper couch, flat screen TV, small kitchenette with fridge freezer, microwave, kettle as well as coffee machine and toaster. Please note that this space is not suitable for indoor cooking. Guests have access to the built in braai and patio. Guests can relax in the wood fired hot tub. Use hot or cold! We have firewood on sale. Should you choose to provide your own firewood, there will be a R200 fee to use the hot tub. Should you wish to use the hot tub cold during summer, the cost is R100. This allows us to empty, clean and re fill the tub after every use. Guests can supply own fire wood or purchase from us on site. Please enquire on check in. We have installed some gas plates next to braai area and provide basic pots and pans. We welcome families traveling with children. However, parents should supervise small children at all times please. We treasure our small vegetable and herb garden and do not like to see it damaged by unsupervised smaller children or pets. We accept small companion pets only, by prior arrangement. Unfortunately no cats. Pets must be supervised at all times and cannot be left unattended. Pets that are not well socialised should be on lead when outside, as our resident cat, Tiger Lilly, often comes to greet guests. Please clean up after your pets. We aim to make our guests as comfortable as possible. During loadshedding guests will have lights, Wi Fi and Television with Netflix. Gas geyser ensures that you will always have access to hot water. Instructions: open hot tap only and wait until water is hot, then add cold slowly if needed. We are on our own water supplied by pressure pump, we request guests use water sparingly during loadshedding periods as excessive use of the pressure pump puts strain on battery system. We wish you a pleasant stay!! Guest access We aim to make our guests as comfortable as possible. During loadshedding guests will have lights, Wi Fi and Television with Netflix. Guests are welcome to stream DSTV on their own profile with own access code. Simply select DSTV stream icon on screen and follow prompts. Gas geyser ensures that you will always have access to hot water. Guests have access to the covered patio with built in braai as well as the back garden. A wood fired hot tub exclusively for guests staying in the cottage. We have home made fire starters in glass containers next to braai. A lighter is next to the gas stove top. Firewood for sale and under the braai. Make a fire in the stainless steel fire burner next to the tub. Please keep cover on when heating the tub, stir with paddle every half an hour. The tub takes between two and three hours to heat and typically you would need three bags of wood. Should you wish to provide your own firewood, there will be a R200 charge for use of hot tub. Safe parking provided for one vehicle per booking only. Please note that our parking area is not suitable for caravans. On street parking available should guests travel with more than one vehicle. Other things to note Our back garden with patio and undercover braai area are exclusive for the use of our Garden Cottage guests. We have bird feeders and a variety of birds can be seen in the mature, well treed garden. A hot tub to relax in. Instructions in the info manual in cottage. Free for guests purchasing our firewood. Should you wish to provide your own wood, there will be a R200 charge to use the hot tub. Should you choose to use the hot tub cold during summer months, the charge will be R100. This enables us to empty, clean and refill the tub after every use. Small pets allowed and subject to a pet fee. Maximum of two pets per booking. Pets must be under owners supervision at all times. Pets are not allowed to be left at the establishment without their owners. Unfortunately no cats. Kindly keep pets on lawn area and out of vegetable and flower beds.
