Beautiful Cabin On The Klickitat River

Charming cabin right on the Klickitat River. The space A beautiful cabin finished in three varieties of wood including a Douglas Fir beamed ceiling. You will love the view of the river, especially from the cozy loft. The loft has 2 queen sized beds and there is a queen sized Murphy bed downstairs. It has all stainless steel appliances including washer and dryer. It has cable TV, WiFi, and phone. The Klickitat River is a premier steelhead and salmon fishery. All season activities abound - White water rafting, kayaking, snow shoeing, cross-country skiing, horseback riding, hiking, hunting, fishing, blackberry picking on old logging road across the highway, and bird watching (bald eagles, bluejays, wild turkeys). The small town of Klickitat with friendly people is not more than a mile away. It has groceries, a restaurant, fast food, gas and other services. The Klickitat Trail runs for miles from Lyle and way past the cabin. There is a great bald eagle viewing area near Lyle on this trail, as well as beautiful views of the river, new fish ladder, and canyon. Lyle is 13 miles from the cabin and Hood River is about an additional 13 miles. The scenic Columbia Gorge is known for its kite surfing and paragliding. Salmon, sturgeon and other fish are abundant in the Columbia River. There is a vacation rental house on the property, about 140 ft. from the cabin. The cabin has a patio and a deck facing away from the house. $20 pet fee per pet. Guest access There is a boat launch for a drift boat at the property. The cabin shares the property with a 3 bedroom house which may also be occupied. There is the possibility that the campfire could be used but there is a fire burner for cabin guests to use on either one of the patios; one of the patios is completely private. It is not visible to any house guests. Other things to note There is a 20.00 fee per pet.
