Newly built log house overlooking Stubbergård Lake

Come and stay in the middle of the amazing nature at Stubbergård Lake, only 100 meters from the water's edge. The log house is newly built from 2020. 4 rooms and 2 bathrooms. Large open kitchen with large dining table. The house offers all the amenities for a relaxing getaway or family vacation. If you like outdoor life, there are a wealth of opportunities on the associated grounds. In 2024, we have set up a guild hall of 100 m2 in the stable building with a wood-burning stove, where there is room for play or a game of pool/billiards. The space Our house is a newly-built log house from 2020. We took over the house in October and are therefore not quite finished with the decor, but we are far along and all the basics are to be found in the house. The house is located in a very unique location, only 100 meters from Stubbergård Lake. There is a fantastic view from the house, which is decorated with several large windows. The style is raw but cozy, with a mix of new and old. You enter the house either through the utility room door or through the front door into the hall. Both the utility room and the hall lead into the large kitchen/living room. There is a kitchen with a large island with seating for 4 people. There is an additional dining table for ten people and a living room area with several seats and a TV. On the ground floor there is also a guest room with a 3/4 bed and a bathroom with shower. In the hall, there is a staircase to the first floor, which leads up to a living room. The living room here is decorated with a large soft sofa and a large TV. At one end of the first floor is a playroom with a sofa that can be made into a double bed, and a bedroom with two junior beds, both of which can be made into adult beds. At the other end of the first floor is a bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom with shower and bathtub. There is also a washing machine and dryer, as well as the possibility to hang laundry to dry. Outside the house, there is a terrace with a gas grill. Guest access Guests have access to all rooms except the technical room and the large walk-in closet in the bedroom. Other things to note If you like the outdoors, this is the perfect place. There is a fantastic hike around Stubbergård Lake of about 14 km, as well as many other beautiful routes in the area. There is a campfire area and firewood in the barn, as well as various campfire equipment. It is possible to borrow a sea kayak from us or rent one or more canoes from a nearby scout hut. It is allowed to fish from our property. We have not yet had the pleasure ourselves and therefore have no knowledge of what fish are in the lake. In the early summer, the lake is wonderful to swim in, but later in the season there can be a lot of algae. In the garden we have a playhouse, sandbox, swings, slide and trampoline. Trampoline one is dug in and there are nets around. There is a 15km hiking trail around the lake, which is easy to access. Toilet and water are available after about 7.5 km. Practical info: You must bring your own sheets, duvet covers and towels. We expect you to leave the house cleaned to the same extent as at check-in.
