A completely reformed farm house situated in a privileged area in the middle of nature and close to a small town called Santa Llogaia del Terri, between Girona and Banyoles. Ideal for large groups or families, the rural home Vell Can Gironès has independent rooms with everything you need to have a comfortable and cozy stay, full bathrooms, kitchen, dining room (with fireplace), and living room (with a wood stove). The outside area has a very large garden and big porch with a fully equipped outdoor kitchen, a barbeque area, a place for small children to play and a saltwater pool (10x4). This is an ideal place to rest and enjoy the natural landscape offering the best services and amenities St. Llogaia del Terri is a small town in the Pla de l'Estany region, where you will discover beautiful destinations and wonderful places. Near the lodging is the Lago de Bañolas (in Catalan, l'Estany de Banyoles), the largest lake in Catalonia. 10 minutes away walking from the house there is the Ter river, a beautiful spot to contemplate nature. A 15 minute car ride away (11Km), is "Girona" a small, manegable city but with the appeal of large cities. Take a quiet stroll through the historic center, visit its monuments and museums, comfortably walk its streets and squares enjoying the restaurants, the cultural offer, the festivals, the architecture... An 1h and 10min. by car from our house is Cadaqués, the most beautiful town in Catalonia on the Costa Brava, it is one of the essential destinations to get to know the life and work of Salvador Dalí. The Salvador Dalí House-Museum was a small fishermen's house in Portlligat, where Salvador Dalí lived and worked regularly from 1930 until the death of his wife Gala in 1982
