A flat right in the centre of the town Brixen in South Tyrol. The perfect base for your weekend getaway, skiing or hiking trip, vintage car or motorbike tour. The space At home on the sunny side of the Alps! Your vacation home is a rare combination of relaxing peace, nature and stimulating urban vibes. Situated in the midst of a lively town it is just as close to nature and the mountains ensuring a relaxing experience for its guests. Its modern architecture and fine interior design is inspired by the traditional historical city center whilst the panorama windows and the large terrace offer spectacular views of the mountains. The apartment comfortably accommodates four guests: two in the master bedroom with a large double bed, and two in a separate second bedroom equipped with a full, high-quality double bed. Brixen is one of the three main towns situated in the cultural landscape of South Tyrol which has been connecting the North with Italy for hundreds of years via the Eisack valley and the Brenner Pass and appears to be the best of both worlds. Winegrowing, agriculture, and local cuisine are outstanding. Breathtaking nature awaits you on the sunny side of the Alps. Some of the highlights are the lithic giants Marmolata, the Three Pinnacles, Sella, Rosegarden, Geisler and Langkofel. The entrance to the Grödner Valley leading to the UNESCO World Natural Heritage is only a few minutes drive away. If you enjoy excellent food and wine South Tyrol has been waiting for you. If you are interested in history, culture, and architecture Brixen, Bozen and Merano or the Eisack, Adige and Puster valleys offer substance for many years of travelling and studying. Mountain trails for hiking and biking start at your doorstep and lead to the Rosegarden or the Three Pinnacle, to name just two. The Sella Joch and the Pordoi Pass in the east, the Jaufen pass and the Penser Joch in the west or the great Stelvio (Stilvser Joch) with the Ortler-Massif invite you to explore with your old-timer, convertible, or motorbike, all of which are safely stowed away in the secure underground parking at night. Pool and indoor-pool, climbing- and tennis hall are just a few minutes walk away. In winter the ski bus will pick you up at the station right outside your door and take you to Plose (10 minutes), Kronplatz (30 minutes) or Grödner Valley (40 minutes). If you prefer to relax with books, movies, and good home cooked meals for a few days the apartment offers you the ambience and the facilities that will make you feel as though you are not missing out on anything. Worth mentioning: - Living area with fully equipped, modern kitchen. - Satellite TV and DVB-T. - Literature and tips about the country and the surroundings. - Separate bathroom with bathtub and separate toilet in the bedroom. - Large south-west balcony with deckchairs. Guest access Full access except one private room. Other things to note - First time access is via an iPhone or Android app. The physical key is inside the apartment. - Washing machine, stove, refrigerator, soda water dispenser. - Basic foods such as oil, salt, coffee etc. can be found in the kitchen. - The journey time from Munich Airport to Bressanone is 3 hours by car. Tourist tax and BrixenCard: The BrixenCard offers you numerous benefits that make your stay especially enjoyable: you can use all public transport free of charge and enjoy one free admission per stay to the Hofburg, the Pharmacy Museum, and Neustift Monastery. In addition, you have daily access to the Acquarena swimming pool for three hours, except on Sundays and public holidays. The cultural program of the city is also included, with free participation in guided city tours as well as discounts on special themed tours. Nature and mountain enthusiasts will appreciate that from May 24 to October 26, one ascent and descent per day with one of the Plose cable cars is included. The local tourist tax, which already includes the BrixenCard, is 4.25 euros per person (aged 14 and above) per night for stays between October 27 and May 23, and 6.35 euros per person (aged 14 and above) per night for stays between May 24 and October 26.
