Össby old stone house

Charming old stone house with one large room, chairs, sofa, dining table and two beds. Kitchenette and small bathroom. 30sqm. The house is located separately near the main building. Beautiful old garden, with olfactory peas and roses in the summer. The village is close to the sea and is one of Öland's most beautiful. Close to a small fine sandy beach and pristine beach meadows. Birdwatcher's favorite next to the southern cape which is within cycling distance ( 40 min). In the garden view of the sea, field and on the other side of Alvaret. The space Are you a nature lover? Then you're in the right place. Welcome to a quiet magical place almost at the bottom of southeastern Öland! Sit in the hammock and watch the roses, fields and sea for breakfast and watch Alvaret for dinner at sunset. Pick some lettuce, sage or maybe some raspberries (if in season) in the garden. Here, you can move freely, be yourself and children can play. Take a walk to Eketorp Castle in the sunset or go down to the sea and look at the swans and if you are lucky the seals. Guest access The stone house is accessible and the garden is large enough for both guests and us who live here. Other things to note We do not usually provide bed linen and towels but this causes problems because for example you are traveling far away so we can always arrange some. If so, let us know in good time before you arrive. Between the large room and the kitchenette there is a beautiful load-bearing beam that is at a fairly low level which means that this door hole is about 150 cm high so you have to bend when you go through if you are not quite short. This is not usually a problem but can be good to know about. Usually Check-in after 5pm and check-out by 12pm but we are flexible.
