Your Relaxing Holiday Retreat La Rosiere is a characterful 'Longere' which roughly translated means a long house. Our much loved 'Longere' is over 100 years old and has been tastefully renovated to a high standard. The local agent is aware of our high standards. In 2022 both bathrooms where upgraded. La Rosière consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 lovely modern bathrooms ,a modern well equipped kitchen, lounge and dining area and is a lovely family home. Each year we invest in the property ensuring it is traditional yet contemporary where it matters!. Electric heaters in all rooms, heated towels rails in both bathrooms, a wood-burner in the lounge area some wood is provided. In the kitchen there is an oven, hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave, CD player, DVD player. Large garden, BBQ, garden furniture stored in it's own shed, which can also be used to store bicycles, At the front and the side of the house there is off-road parking. Situated by the Vendee marshes, on the edge of the cosmopolitan town of St Jean de Mont, which has many restuarants, bars and shops. La Rosière offers a quiet haven for a peaceful and relaxing holiday with lovely views of the countryside , suitable for couples and families alike, There are local supermarkets for your daily requirements, Super U, Intermarché and Lidl are just a 4 minute drive away, along with a wide fantastic sandy beach with lots of facilities for both children and adults of all ages.
