It is ideal for groups of friends, families, perfect to go with children. There are several hiking trails nearby and the animal reserve is very close. You can also visit nearby towns such as Aracena and Minas de Rio Tinto. Minas del Castillo is an old mining village, formerly inhabited by the miners of the La Florita mine. Currently all the houses are renovated but retain their charm. It is very quiet, there are no shops but every morning a delivery boy arrives who takes everything in his van, also the baker arrives every day. The only establishment is a bar where you usually meet neighbors and people on hiking trails or families who are spending the day.
