Nestled in tranquil bushland on the edge of the Otways, our cosy cabins offer the perfect escape for those seeking relaxation, fresh air, and a slower pace of life. The property sits on a quiet, non-working vineyard, home to three cabins. Each has its own private driveway and is separated by natural bushland, ensuring a secluded and restful stay. A picturesque dam lies at the boundary of the estate, attracting native birdlife and adding to the charm of this peaceful setting. One of the true joys of staying here is the abundance of wildlife. Kookaburras, blue wrens, ducks, koalas, echidnas, wallabies, kangaroos, and possums are all regular visitors. Please help us protect them by not feeding the animals and keeping food and rubbish indoors. As with any natural bushland environment, snakes may also pass through the property, so we ask that guests remain aware and stick to the cleared tracks while exploring. At night, the lack of light pollution creates a special kind of magic. Step outside, look up, and marvel at a star-filled sky. When you’re ready to explore beyond the estate, the location couldn’t be better. In just 40 minutes, you can be driving along the world-famous Great Ocean Road, discovering dramatic coastlines and charming seaside towns. The Otways themselves are a nature lover’s playground, with waterfalls, scenic lookouts, and walking tracks all within easy reach. And if you’d like to shop, dine, or simply stock up on supplies, Colac’s town centre is just 12 km away — around a 12-minute drive. This is a place where peace, privacy, and nature come together for a truly restorative escape. Guest access Each cabin is fully private and has its own entrance and parking space directly outside the door. On arrival, simply enter the estate and turn left, following the signage to your cabin. Access is via a secure lockbox with a code and key. Instructions and your unique code will be provided prior to check-in, making your arrival simple and flexible. The nearest township is Colac, located just a 12-minute drive from the estate. Here you’ll find supermarkets, shops, and a wide variety of cafes and eateries for all your needs. For closer options: Gellibrand River Store 16 Main Rd, Gellibrand (15 mins drive) Open 7:30am–4pm daily, offering excellent coffee, breakfast/brunch, and other tasty meals. Dine in or takeaway. To get there, head back out of the estate, turn right onto Colac-Lavers Hill Rd, and continue until you reach Gellibrand. Elliminyt Mini Mart 169 Main St, Elliminyt (10 min drive) Open 5am–6pm daily. Other things to note A picturesque dam sits at the boundary of the property, attracting ducks, native birds, and other wildlife. It adds to the charm and peacefulness of the estate, but please be mindful that the dam is unfenced. For everyone’s safety: Children must be supervised at all times near the water. Swimming, fishing, or entering the dam is not permitted. Please enjoy the dam from a safe distance and take care when walking in the surrounding area. The dam is a wonderful feature to sit by with a coffee or watch the birdlife, and we ask guests to treat this special part of the estate with respect.
