Tucked away in a small alley in the heart of Hai Phong, Mía & Nho Stay is a private, single-story whole house just 30 meters from the main street. The space includes one bedroom, an open kitchen–living area, and a green skylight that brings in natural light. The home is personally created, decorated, cared for, and cleaned by my parents. We are always happy to welcome you, whether for a short stay, a weekend getaway, or a peaceful place to pause in the city center. The space Mia & Nho Stay is a small, private one-story house located in a quiet little alley off Cau Dat Street(one-way street), Ngo Quyen District, Hai Phong. It’s just a relaxed 30-meter walk from the main road to reach our place. The house features a cozy bedroom with a work-friendly desk and convenient power outlets, a small yet fully equipped kitchen connected to the living area with a sofa, and a clean bathroom. Both the kitchen and living room face a skylight courtyard with a green vertical garden, and a tiny patio below that fits one bicycle and one motorbike. Our home is tucked away in a unique architectural setting: a private 'micro-neighborhood' of just 6 families surrounding a sun-drenched, breezy communal courtyard. To reach us, you will walk through a time-worn alleyway—a true signature of the Old Quarter. Your neighbors are original residents who have lived here for 40-50 years, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The house is located on Cầu Đất Street—a name with deep folk roots. This street is famous for its three specialties: handmade leather shoes, traditional mooncakes, and the iconic railway tracks cutting through the city. Historically known as Rue Paul Bert during the French colonial era, today it has earned a new poetic nickname: 'Phố Bằng Lăng' (Crape Myrtle Street), thanks to the vibrant purple flowers that bloom every early summer. Being part of such a long-standing, close-knit community means security here is nearly perfect. You will feel as safe and relaxed as if you were in your own home. Mia & Nho Stay is a perfect choice for long stays, remote work, or business trips, as you will have the entire house to yourself—no shared kitchen or shared spaces like in larger multi-room houses. The home includes all the basic amenities you need for comfortable everyday living. From the house, it’s only about 200 meters to the historic Co Dao Market, convenience stores, cafés, a local park, the Opera House, and Thang Tam Theatre. Inside our alley, you’ll also find long-standing family-run eateries such as fried rice, steamed rice rolls, a hair-washing shop, homemade preserved fruits, and at the alley’s entrance, a popular grilled–stir-fried squid stall that opens from 6 PM until 1–2 AM. To me, this alley is both warm and lively, reflecting the everyday rhythm of local life. Just outside the alley, you’ll have easy access to many more food stalls, shops, and local services along Cau Dat Street and nearby streets like Cat Dai (Hai Ba Trung), Luong Khanh Thien, and Tran Phu—perfect for walking or biking around. As the house is located in a residential neighborhood, absolute quiet cannot be guaranteed. We provide all essential amenities for daily living, but the space is not designed to offer hotel-level perfection. During your stay, occasional unforeseen or objective issues may arise; we are always willing to communicate openly and cooperate in good faith to find a reasonable solution. Please only book if you feel this homestay model suits your needs and expectations. All information described in this section is completely honest and accurately reflects the real condition of the homestay. Guest access The house is fully equipped with all essential amenities, plus a guitar that I used to play and a bicycle for guests to explore the neighborhood. We also offer two motorbikes for rent at a very reasonable price. For longer trips, the PCX is a great choice; for getting around the city, the small and lovely Scoopy is perfect. These are my parents’ own motorbikes, so you can ride with peace of mind. Other things to note Mía & Nho is a small home, not a hotel. Cozy and minimalist space, ideal for short stays or business trips. The room is equipped with essential amenities including a comfortable bed, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and a compact living area to ensure a convenient and pleasant stay. The private bathroom is designed in a compact layout to optimize space. Please note: the sink and shower share the same water supply line with a switching valve. This design remains hygienic but may differ from standard bathroom setups in larger properties. Best suited for guests who value convenience, affordability, and a simple, functional space. We always try our best to bring you the most comfortable experience. We hope you will cherish this place as if it were your own. To ensure a smooth check-in upon your arrival, please message us your estimated arrival time 1 hour in advance and send a photo of your passport or ID card via the Airbnb app. We will send the self-check-in instructions immediately after receiving these details • Mía & Nho can host a maximum of 2 guests. Please do not add extra guests or overnight visitors without prior approval from the host. • We cannot accommodate pets. Mía also has two adorable “babies,” but because the courtyard is shared, it’s not convenient. • Please keep quiet in the evening as the house is located in a small residential neighborhood. After 8 PM, the area becomes very peaceful, though you may hear cats or neighbors returning home on their motorbikes — simple sounds of daily life, as this is a real home within a real community. - The alley entrance has a grilled-squid stall that stays open late (until 2–3 AM), so it may sometimes feel a bit narrow, carry the smell of food, or have slight noise — a charming and authentic touch of Hải Phòng’s night street life. - This is a strictly managed central neighborhood, so please avoid loud gatherings and do not use any prohibited substances to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for everyone. - Guests traveling by car can park at the city’s free parking lot about 1 km away (it may be full on weekends). A paid lot is available 200 meters from the house, at the entrance of Cát Dài street. The house courtyard is small and can only fit one motorbike. - This is a one-way street. You should approach from the lower end to stop in front of the alley. If you stop at the top of the street (near the Opera House), you will need to walk about 200 meters against the direction to reach the alley. - As the house has many plants and a lush green atmosphere, you may occasionally notice a few “little visitors.” For stays of 4 days or longer, we may need to stop by periodically to water the plants (we will notify you in advance to avoid any inconvenience). *As this is part of the city's historic center, it is unfortunately prone to heavy flooding during extreme downpours (typically from August to October). Please be aware that while other parts of the city may remain unaffected, the water level in this specific central area can rise very quickly. During these heavy storms, the street can become impassable for all vehicles, including cars, for a few hours.
