In the bedrooms you will find pillow protectors (60×60), mattress protectors, and 220×240 duvets with duvet covers to be used for hygiene reasons and for future guests. Please remember to bring your fitted sheets, pillowcases, and towels, unless you have chosen the linen and towel option. You will receive keys for the kitchen door, entrance, dining room, and living room. In the kitchen there are two keys for the pool gate. The large key is for the garage door. Please contact me if you notice any equipment not working or if you have any questions about how the house operates. A house handbook with all information and equipment instructions is available. Wi-Fi code: on the Orange router (QR code). HOUSE The main electrical circuit breaker is located in the utility room, below the electrical panel. Hot water: if you need more hot water, open the electrical cabinet on the far right and switch the button to “1”. The main drinking water supply is located under the electric water heater; it is the valve furthest to the right in the corner, with the pipe coming from below. The house is connected to an individual septic system. Please only flush toilet paper. For cleaning the terracotta floor tiles on the ground floor, use only the linseed oil container located under the kitchen sink. No bleach, please. Clean the oven using the pyrolysis function only. No oven cleaner, please. Kitchen: if you break a glass, mug, bowl, or any other item, please inform me and replace it. Do not place anything on radiators (towels, clothes, etc.) or within 50 cm of them. Damage: if you notice any equipment not working, a leak, or other issue, please inform me as soon as possible and do not wait until the end of your stay. Various equipment: fans, changing table, potty, WC reducer, plastic baby bath, hair dryer, two bath mats, diesel generator. Air conditioning on the first-floor landing to cool the upper floor during heatwaves. POOL If the water becomes cloudy, please inform me. Keep the water level at ¾ of the skimmers; otherwise, the pump may draw in air. No animals in the pool. Do not use hard plastic toys, as they may damage the pool liner. Never leave children in the pool without supervision. In the evening, please roll out the summer cover. Unscrew the brake on the reel and unroll with two people. During the day, please roll the cover back up and secure the plastic protection with the two elastic cords. During your stay, if you feel the bottom of the pool is dirty, please contact me so I can connect the pool robot. Pool safety: shallow area, diving pit, safety ledge. PVC liner. Chlorine treatment. Safety features include a 1.40 m fence and a gate with two safety locks and keys. GARDEN Please do not move the stones from the low stone walls on the property. Use charcoal only for the BBQ, no wood logs. A stainless-steel brush is provided for cleaning the grill, and an ash tray at the bottom of the BBQ to empty into the compost bin. HOUSEHOLD WASTE There are two 100 L bins on site for household waste (equivalent to three 50 L bags). For additional bins, the cost is €5 per bin opening. At the end of your stay, I will take your bags to the waste container, as I have the access badge. The recycling containers (paper, cardboard, etc.) are freely accessible above the Auberge farm, about 100 m away. The glass container is located behind the village hall in BROUCHAUD, opposite the church. Alternatively, there is another glass container near the Forge d’Ans bridge on the departmental road. On-site compost bin: you may dispose of cold BBQ ashes, paper towels, coffee filters, vegetable waste, etc.
