Large village house completely renovated, you will love the calm and charm of this accommodation located in the heart of a country village. To relax, you will have access to a room dedicated to meals and relaxation with a play area and a pool table (outside of meals). Breakfast: €8/pers. Hiking in the heart of the Cantal Volcanoes, tourism and culture (Close to Blesle, ranked the most beautiful village in France, and Brioude, city of crafts) will enhance your stay. The space The house dates from the early 20th century and was first a café, then became the bakery of the village. The rooms are furnished in Louis Philippe style. The large (12 m²) and recently renovated bathroom is shared by the guests of the 3 bedrooms. The toilet is separated (1 toilet). Upstairs, the old mass grave (2 m² room used for drying cold cuts and game) is equipped with a refrigerator, coffee maker and electric kettle allowing guests to store their fresh products and take coffee, tea or infusions as they wish. Guest access Access via the A75, Massiac exit. Coming from the North (Clermont-Ferrand), 4 minutes. At the roundabout at the exit of the highway, take the first right towards Grenier-Montgon. Coming from the south (Montpellier), 7 minutes. Cross Massiac towards Blesle and head towards Grenier-Montgon at the roundabout at the exit of the village. In Grenier-Mongon, turn right at the war memorial towards Brioude. The house is 200 m from the crossroads. Access by train via Massiac-Blesle station. Notify Hervé to come pick you up. Closed garage for bikes. During your stay Hervé, your host, is available at any time by phone. Other things to note Upstairs, you will have a refrigerator reserved for guests and the possibility to prepare coffee, tea or an infusion. You also have the option of having dinner on site (single menu) by notifying us in the morning at the latest. Family, friendly and Auvergne cuisine.
