It is an 18 min drive (19km) to the attractive coastal town of Dungarvan. Home to the Waterford Greenway. It is a 18min drive (20km) to the historical town of Lismore. 18 minutes to the Nire Valley where Lake fishing features. The space Cosy Cottage fully updated with WiFi and TV. French doors open onto private balcony over looking spectacular gardens and glourious vista beyond. Relax there whilst listening to the sound of the Finisk river below. The cottage has a lovely east facing private patio to one side. There is parking for two cars to the west of the property. Storage for bikes if needed. Inside you have a fully equipped bespoke kitchen with dishwasher and microwave. There are good cooking facilities for your dining needs. Cosy up beside the stove after a day travelling through beautiful West Waterford. When you’re ready,retire to a warm relaxing bedroom next door. New feature for summer vacation 2022. Newly built garden pavilion with a Mediterranean feel. You are invited to come through the rustic gate, follow the tree fern pathway, sit,relax and chill a while, with a cool drink 🍹 while taking in the fabulous mountain view yonder. Guest access Guests have the cottage to themselves for their stay. Other things to note Bendan’s cottage is located in the heart of west Waterford. It’s a quite spot away from the hustle and bustle of town or city life. For all things beautiful there is a small price to pay!! No public transport available to you, so come prepared. The nearest local shop is called Beary’s cross stores. A 10 min drive (6.6km) through the winding roads. Service station also. I will leave tea, milk, sugar and coffee to get you going along with some home baking to settle you in nicely. Parking on the grounds of the cottage.
