Welcome to Blue River Cabin! Enjoy this lovely cabin in a peaceful neighborhood on a beautifully wooded lot less than 10 minutes from all of the fun in Breckenridge! Enjoy the private sauna and hot tub on property. Our 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath cabin is perfect for 4-5 adults or small families. 6 minutes to world class hiking 8 minutes to mountain biking 10 minutes to Downtown Breckenridge 30 minutes to Keystone Ski Resort 35 minutes to Copper Mountain 60 minutes to Vail The space The outdoors has many relaxation opportunities. Sit in our gliders and enjoy the stream running through the property, soak in the hot tub and/or fire up the sauna and enjoy some dry heat after a hike or a day skiing. There are also hammocks on the north side of the lot as well as a cornhole set, badminton and a propane fire pit (fire restrictions permitting.) Wildlife is a common occurrence here. You may encounter moose, deer, bears and foxes. Indoors is an open floor plan with a well equipped kitchen along with two cozy bedrooms. Enjoy radiant floor heating in both bathrooms as well as the wood burning fireplace in the living room. Firewood is not provided and can be picked up at the City Market in Breckenridge. The two bedrooms boast queen beds with new mattresses, and the living room has a modular sofa (not a fold-out) that can comfortably accommodate 1 adult or two small children. Note: Like many mountain properties, we do not have air conditioning. Feel free to open windows or just step out and enjoy the lovely outdoors. The lowest point in Breck is around 9,000 feet, and Blue River Cabin sits at 10,100 feet. If you are prone to altitude sickness, consider acclimating in Denver before heading up and definitely stay hydrated. Your cleaning fee goes entirely to our cleaners. There is no upcharge included. Excellent wifi for remote working! We provide a complete coffee and tea station for your stay including plenty of coffee and a drip coffee pot and electric tea kettle. Feel free to bring your favorite variety if you prefer. Guest access Access the cabin at your convenience using our electronic door lock. Your privacy is important to us. No one will access the property during your stay unless you make a request for maintenance. Other things to note The kitchen is well equipped for your cooking needs. See photos for details. We also have a propane grill for your use on the deck. We just ask that you please clean it after use. While our home is not baby/toddler proofed, you are welcome to bring babies and toddlers. We have a portable crib and high chair as well as plastic dinnerware available for your use. We have two outdoor cameras on the property that record both audio and video. They cover the front door and driveway as well as the side door which includes the sauna and hot tub. They are only monitored to ensure registered guests enter safely and in the event of any issues. They may not be covered or disabled. Curious about what the checkout instructions are? We get you’re on vacation! Our main requests are just to collect the trash and load the dishwasher. We also appreciate if you pile used towels in the bathroom and pick up after your pets (if any). That’s it! Our cleaners will take care of the rest.
