Beautiful, comfortable, cozy farm "Haus Schoenbourg" for 8 persons 140m² on two floors. The farmhouse from the 18th century, lovely renovated in the last years by its German owners. Smoking not allowed. The space First floor: Living/dining room with original Alsace furniture, Alcove, tiled stove and hi-fi system. comfortable kitchen with for hot plates, oven , micro wave, dishwasher, toaster, …, Bath/shower,WC . Door to the garden area, Second floor a cozy TV-hall with satellite TV, DVD system 3sleeping rooms with large double beds, one sleeping room with two single beds., bath/shower and separate WC. The garden area 1200m², terrace 20 m², terrace furniture, 6 deck chairs, large covered courtyard, barbecue and boule area for your private use. Other equipment: hair dryer, iron, washing machine, German books, games for in and outside, table tennis. Bikes rent with a small tippy for our housekeeper. 3 parking places, You rent the complete house and the complete garden area. For children nearby in the village are football field, court, playground Guest access The house has a quite position in the center of a little village ”Schoenbourg” in front of the church, small road which ends in the forest, Start point for go on a hike to the National park “Pay de la Petite Pierre” Distances to sights: Graufthal 3km cottages built into the rock, Restaurants , La Petite Pierre 9km, chateaux , Phalsbourg Lorain 12km, Saverne 20 km a lovely Alsace town, chateaux and “Rhein-Marne Kanal“, Strasbourg 50km The historical cottage was built in a mixture of free-stone and half-timber with woodwork-ceilings, tiled stoves completed with a "modern" gas heating and with all the comfort for a nice holiday with family and friends. On the first floor the living room, the old cottage kitchen and a "modern" kitchen with gas-stove, oven, microwave and dish-washer with a joining bathroom. Upstairs you will find 4 bedrooms and a nice sitting area with sat-TV. Other things to note The basic price is the price for 4 people the day. Each additional person will pay 18 Euros per day in addition to this. For bookings more than 7 days we grant 10% off. Children less than 2 years of age are free. In the main season we rent out not for less than 1 week and your arrival day is Saturday. Our housekeeper offers service for bedlinnen and towels for your stay at a price of 10 Euro per person. After the booking we'll ask if you like this service. It can be payed on site. If not you can also bring your own. As we have to cover cost,, we have unfortunately to charge extra for gas since the prices were raised. Firewood and electricity is already included in the rent. The visitors tax in France is 0,75 Euro per person per day.
