For the holidaymaker, the dedicated sports fisherman, the bird watcher, and for people with an interest in history! Charming cottage located approximately fifty meters off the bank of Helige (Holy) -river and the Husebymaden-wetland. The perfect place for canoeing, bathing, fishing, bird watching or just enjoying the tranquil surroundings. A CANOE IS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE:) The space The cottage is the only housing in the area directly at the river side, except for the Huseby "castle"/mansion. The cottage is partially recently renowated (bathroom 2021) and has several conveniences such as a fireplace, a fridge with a small freezer compartment, a stove, a shower and a incineration toilet. The cottage consists of one big living room with a sofa-bed (two beds), one sleeping-loft with two mattresses, a kitchen, a bathroom with a shower, one bed room with a double bed, and a glassed-in porch/veranda, also with a double bed. The cottage is perfect for a family, or a party of two to five people. Bedlinen and towels are not included. However, the host can provide bedlinen and towels, but only at request and at an extra fee (150 sek per set). Guest access The entire cottage and the plot upon which it stands is at the disposal of the guests. Boat ( including 4 HP motor, and fishing rod-holders) may be rented at an extra fee: 500 SEK a day or 2000 SEK a week (5 l petrol included). A CANOE IS INCLUDED FOR FREE WHEN YOU BOOK THE COTTAGE. There are also 2 stand up paddle boards that you can rent for 250 sek a day, each. Check availability with the host before your stay. There is also a raft from which you can swim, and to sunbathe upon. The cottage is equipped with a fireplace. Guests also have access to a coal grill. Furthermore, there is an open-air fireplace with view towards the river. The host provide one full wooden crate of firewood for free. Other things to note In the garden and on the property, there are several fun things for children, such as a zipline and a treehouse. However, it’s important to note that the host cannot guarantee safety – guests are responsible for assessing safety themselves, and all activities are undertaken at their own risk.
