La Bastide des Amandiers welcomes you in the Cabanon, a pretty cottage for 4 people, on one level and adjoining the main body. It is completely independent and outdoor spaces are designed so you have a small private garden. We have two other cottages on our property where we welcome people looking for peace and quiet. No sunbed is installed by the pool to preserve everyone's privacy. The space The cabin is a 65 m2 cottage that consists of a large living room, kitchen, dining room, living room opening onto a beautiful shaded terrace with garden furniture, a nice bench for napping, a table and a plancha. In the part of the garden reserved for you, you also have at your disposal deckchairs and sun loungers. There are also two bedrooms, a bathroom with double sink and a separate toilet. Only the bedrooms are air-conditioned because the cottage stays very cool in the summer thanks to its beautiful shaded terrace covered with a kiwi tree. Guest access La Bastide des Amandiers is a peaceful place, in the countryside, in a 1.5 hectare garden, with an orchard, an olive grove and a small lavender field. Depending on the season, you will have the pleasure of picking cherries or apricots in the orchard as well as grapes, figs and good fresh almonds. We'll be happy to offer you good eggs from our hens. We also produce our olive oil and lavender essential oil which is available for sale as well as our jams depending on the season. We are at the foot of pretty hills where you can go for hours on marked hiking trails, in the scent of thyme and rosemary! From the peaks, there is a splendid view of the Luberon, Mont Ventoux, Les Alpilles and La Montagne Sainte-Victoire! We can point you to beautiful walks, starting from the house but also in the surroundings because we walk a lot! The charming village of Rognes is 5 km from the house, you can walk or bike there to do your shopping and enjoy the pretty Wednesday morning market and have a drink at the village café. Other things to note We are ideally located at the gates of the Luberon, a region known for its beautiful Provençal villages such as Lourmarin, Bonnieux, Gordes and Roussillon but also many other less touristy and more authentic that we will gladly show you. We love sharing our good addresses, restaurants, ice cream shops, vineyards, local artisans, markets! Within a maximum of one hour, you can visit the pretty seaside town of Cassis and its famous coves, the Camargue, the Alpilles and its olive groves, the Verdon Gorge, the Sault Plateau and its lavender fields as far as the eye can see, Colorado Provençal, Avignon and the Palais des Papes and of course the beautiful city of Aix-en-Provence which is only 30 minutes from the house! A small important clarification; having ourselves a large dog and two cats, we unfortunately cannot accommodate other four-legged friends. If you are a smoker, please do not smoke inside the vacation rental and be very vigilant outside as many fires are started each year by cigarettes.
