This charming studio guesthouse is located in the historic town of La Veta, Colorado. It nestles in a large corner property filled with perennial gardens and walkways. Enjoy the quiet ambience of the New Mexico territorial cottage, festooned with grapevines and flower pots. Judith and her husband Ernest are long time residents. Judith runs her fibre art studio from home and in the summer, hosts students from all over the world. She frequently offers the studio guest house for rent. The space The interior features an eclectic mix of antique furniture and artwork along with a fully stocked kitchen. Each room has overhead fans with window fans in the living room and bedroom. The private patio overlooks the gardens and a victorian cottage. Guest access Guests have full access to the cottage guest house, across the yard from the main house. It's very quiet with a beautiful private porch. Guests have their own parking area and gate entrance. Pets are allowed only with permission from the host. Cats are not advised due to a territorial cat belonging to the host. There is a very large fenced-in yard that is available to guests and shared with the host's friendly pets. Other things to note We have three little dogs--very sweet, very friendly. You're likely to see and interact with them in the yard. We try very hard to ensure guest privacy and to keep the dogs in hand when guests are in residence. They are moochers and not allowed in the Studio Guesthouse!
