Best, Exotic Magnolia Inn offers a wonderfully comfortable home away in Savannah's beautiful Historic Victorian District. Built in the Victorian era, the property still evokes a bygone era. This is the upstairs floor of a 2 unit detached home with private entrances and 2 private porches. Walking distance to all of historic Savannah's sites and restaurants, we're just a few blocks to Forsyth Park, coffee shops and the grocery store. Savannah SVR #01516 The space Best Exotic is the light filled upstairs unit of a beautiful Victorian home that was separated into 2 apartments at some point over the years. The ceilings are 14 feet high and the windows are abundant (one of the Jefferson windows is still intact while 2 were converted to doors to the porch.) Several of the light fixtures are adapted from the (original?) gas lamps that once lit night time reading for it's owners. Charming details remain intact such as the restored claw foot tub/shower, wainscoting and picture molding. We've enjoyed mixing that vintage charm with some modern style and comforts. The beds boast hybrid mattresses and the sheets are all 600 thread count Egyptian cotton (sorry we have a weakness for nice sheets!) We also love chunky luxe towels so you'll be set for a little pampering after what are sure to be wonderful days exploring Savannah. Guest access You will have access to the upstairs unit 502. The front entry will be your main access with a keypad entry system. Best, Exotic has a front porch as well as a back porch. There is plenty of seating on both and a table on the back porch for your morning coffee or a meal. The back porch offers access to a shared backyard which you are free to use. We just ask that you keep the doors closed when going in and out so we can conserve energy and keep the space a comfortable temperature. Other things to note Savannah is an incredibly fun place to visit! We will provide a list of favorite restaurants and activities but it's an amazing place to just wander as well. Best, Exotic is just a few blocks west of Forsyth Park and one block south of the Landmark Historic District so you will be walking distance from all that the Landmark and Victorian Districts have to offer. Savannah has a vibrant arts and events scene so many weekends, especially in the spring and fall, the city is filled with interesting activities and a few people. So if you have a special event to celebrate, we suggest you make reservations for dinner in advance.
