A home away from home for you and your family while in Vancouver. We are centrally located in a lovely treed area of the city. We are 10 mins to UBC and beaches, 15 mins to downtown, and approx 20 mins from the airport. The suite is nice and bright, it has its own entrance, and is closed off from the rest of the house. It is on the main level of a multigenerational family home. If you are here to late night party downtown please book something else! The space The Guest Suite is on the main level of our lovely family home. It has its own private entrance into the home and all rooms are separate from the main house. The suite does shares walls with the main house and therefore you may hear some sounds, like clinking of dishes or toddler feet from the main house at different times of the day. Generally it is pretty quiet and peaceful. The suite has one lovely bathroom, with custom vanity and shower (Sorry no BathTub). One large bedroom that includes a queen size bed and ottoman (that converts to a single bed). This room also contains couch,tv and closet for hanging clothes. Lastly, the suites final room is where you will find a small breakfast nook, including a mini fridge, toaster oven, microwave, kettle and coffee machine. THERE IS NO STOVE AND NO KITCHEN SINK. THIS SUITE DOES NOT HAVE A FULL KITCHEN. The backyard/hottub is shared with the main house and therefore you may see other people in this space. In the summer, feel free to grab a lawn chair and relax in lovely treed yard, or during the winter sit under the string lights and relax in the hot tub. ‘Abby’ the family friendly dog may want to sit beside you :) Due to watering restrictions in Vancouver, the hot tub is closed for summer. Guest access Guest Access the Property through the GRAVEL driveway. Once you are through the white gate, you will walk towards the back yard. Here you will find a stone patio - which belongs to the basement suite - depending on year and time of day you might see other people in the back yard. Once in the back yard you will see steps going up to your suite. At the top of the stairs is a small deck with a door to enter your suite. Look for the #2. Door has a keypad and code will be given upon arrival. Other things to note If you need anything during your stay, please use the AirBnb app. We try and accommodate our guests as best as possible to make their stay as enjoyable as possible. - The basement unit does have a very friendly dog, who will want to welcome you home any chance she gets. Please let us know if this will be a problem and we can look into modifying her arrival greeting during your stay. - We can happily provide extra bedding for kids/babies just let us know what you need. - If you are a group of two and want to use the ottoman bed, please let us know in advance so we can have it made up for your stay. - Guests enter the property via a GRAVEL driveway, and then have about 12 stairs to climb before entering your suite. - Please NO Smoking or Vaping on property. - Depending on other guests checking in or out, late check-out and early check-in MAY be accommodated.
